“We stayed in one of the 10 Slab Huts, very rustic but comfortable. Close to tourist locations with QANTAS Founders across road and Stockmans Hall of Fame both within short walking distance. The only drawback would be the traffic noise from highway with road trains travelling 24/7.”

“The room was lovely. My only comment is that it would be nice to have a bench or something in the bathroom, or even hooks for clothes. Also no milk was provided for tea and coffee which I found a bit odd.”

“My stay.at Longreach was OK. The room was clean although looking tired, curtains stained & need to be renewed. The hosts were great people, very ameniable. I think considering where the town is one can’t expect what’s available in larger places which draw considerably more tourists.”
