Serenity

The grounds are simply beautiful with all the flowers that Charlene tends to. The grass was nicely mowed and the beach is right there below with its own private area and private dock. The home was clean and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The 50s decor was very fun and we enjoyed playing the jukebox. The whole place was very comfortable and warm and cozy. Charlene went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and even made us a delicious huckleberry treat before we left. Definitely highly recommend this home and even the community was very welcoming and friendly. We rode our bikes along the shoreline which was also quite beautiful!

Pleasant stay at Deer Lake

Our family really enjoyed staying here. We can’t wait to come back! Our kids loved fishing off the dock, playing music on the jukebox & eating at the counter. Because of a family commitment we didn’t have time to take the kayaks out. Hopefully we can do that next time.

Fantastic getaway

Excellent doesn't even begin to describe the qualities of this awesome vacation rental. The unit itself offers all the amentities of home while providing beautiful landscape and a perfect, relaxing getaway! The owners went out of their way to make sure our expectations were exceeded and they were - we wanted for nothing!

Amazing in every way!

Spent 3 days with my kids here. The home, view, host... all outstanding!!! We loved playing the jukebox, and playing "diner" while I prepared meals for my kids. I am a fan of all things Elvis, so obviously I was just in heaven with all the Elvis decor! The home was well kept, yard is just breathtaking... Charlene and Bob are the sweetest people! We will reccomend this home to all our friends, and will for sure be coming back another time!!

Relaxing

This place was amazing and Charlene was the perfect host. Always made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay there complete. Charlene shared some of their water toys for my girls and also kept everything clean and inviting. The beach was sandy and clean, dock is in great shape and star gazing from the end of the dock was amazing. I would changed the mattress in the main room, little hard for my wife.I would also consider changing out the day bed to a queen sofa pull out. The day bed was not big enough for 2. All in all perfect setting and worth every penny. Charlene makes an incredible berry flat pie too. The Anderson's

Great vacation!

There were no reviews on this place when we booked but I'm so glad we took the chance! We enjoyed a great week in Charlene and Bob's rental with perfect weather. Our son loved using the kayak/paddle boat and our daughter played in the sand all week. We would pop a couple of quarters into the jukebox every night while we ate. A lovely home with very kind hosts!

Charlene was friendly and took care of everything. All the small details were appreciated. The accommodations were comfortable and the decor was fun. My husband appreciated the nostalgia. The fishing off the dock was what we wanted - each person caught their limit (June). I enjoyed relaxing on the porch swing and floating in the lake. This was a family trip - and my kids asked when we are going back! It was fun, yet relaxing, the trip we needed! Great experience and place to build fond memories. Felt right at home. Will definitely stay here again!
