Great vacation

I rented this house for our annual family vacation and everyone had a blast. Kids played in the water for hours, the fishing was great and the house was well cared for. Would recommend if youre looking for a relaxing vacation!

Wonderful stay

Beautiful property. Very picturesque. We were gone most of the time as we needed a place to stay for a ski vacation, but certainly would have loved to just hang out more at the house as it is such a lovely place. We found the sleeping accommodations very comfortable and couldn't wish for much more!

Such a beautiful getaway! The cabin is very clean and equipped with everything you would need. The host is very accommodating and even asked if there was anything else we needed. A great vacation for the family from the cabin to the dock and beach. Very relaxing!

The owner double booked the property. Ours was booked through VRBO and the other through her personally. She offered various accommodations but none worked for our family of 6.

Horrible

Found a hidden camera in the unit which is against VRBO policy and against the law. Never will we stay at a VRBO again. -Also, no thermostat to control temperature in unit. You have to call the owner to turn on the air conditioner.

Great place that I recommend to others

We had a great weekend here! The place was very nice, inside and out. We enjoyed kayaking, swimming, jumping off the dock, BBQ, relaxing on deck outside and playing sone of the games inside. It was a great time. The host, Shelley, communicated very well and reached out to make sure we had a good stay. Would stay agaim for sure.

Lovely View!

The property was clean and well-maintained. The hosts were away much of the time we were there, so even though they live in the upstairs of the house, we had privacy and quiet. Our stay was great.

Worse than staying in your parents basement.

The owner does not respect your privacy, she is “very present”. Entered the VRBO without asking. She controls the thermostat, we had to ask her multiple times to turn on the A/C during 90 degree weather.

Great for Families

Got the branches together for a little weekend getaway with the kiddos. Very kid friendly, lots of floaties for using the lake, and board games for if the weather turns dreary. Kids might fight over top bunk in the 3rd bedroom. :) lily pad was a huge hit. Very good place for families with babies. Owner can provide you play pen if needed, and was very helpful when we were trying to pack up with a fussy 4 month old… He didn’t want to leave either. Very well designed, well furnished and well maintained, very clean lakefront place. We had outdoor bbq and hotpot on the deck. Wonderful place for a great weekend.

Great weekend with family.

Property was great. Shelley was incredibly responsive and hospitable prior to and throughout our stay. Record breaking temperatures all weekend, but we stayed nice and cool inside. Even though property is beneath owners part of the house, it was very spacious. High ceilings and open floor plan make great use of the space. One room had no windows, which was good for us since we had a small baby who needed naps throughout the day. The other two rooms had large windows but also had curtains which did a good job of blocking day light. The porch area was comfortable with ample shade and lots of seating. Kitchen had most anything we needed in order to cook for our big family. Big gas grill also had necessary utensils. Lake access and dock were great for either lounging by the water or playing with young kids. Overall wonderful weekend. Would definitely stay here again.

Great family location!

Our family of 6 enjoyed this property so much. Waking up to wonderful views and drinking coffee on the patio, walking down to swim and cannonball off the dock whenever the kids wanted to. This was a fantastic start to our summer vacation!

Great snowy getaway

Great Lake views and space to spend time with kids. Snowy hikes, baking cookies, reading a good book, and watching movies was just what we needed. Only problem was trash bags piled outside.
