“From the pictures on the site, I was expecting a secluded large ranch style property with a creek to fish in. The house sits right on the road, neighbors close by. If you want to stay indoors it’s a beautiful house but there is nothing to do outdoors because it was to hot for a campfire for s’mores. Maybe I just had my heart set on a cool creek for fishing. This isn’t on the property and has to be set up ahead of time on a different property.”

“This was my third or fourth stay, and I love these folks. The rooms come with a big frig, sitting area with TV, big storage area outside the bath; ie lots of square footage. It is well away from a loop around the city, so not loud. The fact that I know the manager by name because THEY ARE SO WONDEFUL tells you everything. Go there and see.”

“Urban and trendy; perfect for our large family gathering.”

“Loved this little house! Homey and warm with so many perks!!”

“Thank You very much, had a great stay!”

“We were very surprised by the high ratings and “exceptional” descriptions in the listing. They were responsive to our messages and check in was easy, but we would not stay at this place again. The photos were accurate but the apartment could use some sprucing up (ie, paint, chipped tiles, etc). We had a toilet that didn’t flush properly, and was a continued problem throughout the night. The only a/c unit (located in the bedroom) wasn’t sufficient for cooling down the entire place, or even……

“Very retro.”

“My daughter, myself and my furbabies enjoyed staying at the home. The rooms were clean.”

“The pictures don't do it justice. Our kids were ready to move in for good!”

“This is an amazing vintage home it keeps the decor of that era great job 👍”

“Host (Beverly) was very easy to work with and wanted to ensure we had what we needed. The home was very clean and comfortable, along with an amazing ac unit! Will definitely stay here again if we need a room in Lubbock.”

“Very comfortable stay in a good neighborhood, and centrally located to everything. ”

“This property was much more fantastic in person. Our stay was the best ever and the host was exceptional. I would recommend this to everyone. It was so great that after a day of moving my daughter my wife and I really didn't even want to go out but with some recommendations we went and had a great burger at Wrecked and just had a nice relaxing evening. If we were allowed more stars we would have checked them all.”

“House was very spacious and felt like a home away from home. Was clean and check in was easy host was just a text away and very responsive. Would recommend and would stay again ”

“Very nice place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Nice back yard with ping pong table and corn hole boards available. Communication with the host was very good. Quick responses.”

“Muy limpia y muy tranquilo el barrio”
