I really enjoyed staying here! It was nice and quiet— exactly what I needed after my long days in the city.
My room had its own bathroom and from what I could tell so did the other rooms. (Some of the listings say shared bathroom.) The room and bed was clean except the floor was a bit sticky and left my socks dark on the bottoms. Never saw a bug and hardly saw another person aside from the hosts (who were so nice and sweet).
There was a delicious restaurant around the corner— Maya Mexican Restaurant. It was within walking distance, but it’s up to you if you want to make that walk. With that being said, at night time the parking lot and outdoor seating areas are fenced in, creating a secure place to lounge and park at night. The building is only accessible by key as well, so it is a very secure and safe stay.
Overall, this place is a good option for anyone needing an affordable and comfortable stay. If I found myself in the area again, I would not hesitate to choose the Anchor Pointe Inn again.
