This is my third time staying at this property, it has always been a great place to stay and I will continue to use this facility when I am in town; this time the only complaint I have is that the mattress was worn out and did not have a good sleep as I had to stay in one area of the bed so I did not go into the sagging side.

I requested a room change because the original one had ants in the bathroom sink. Both rooms had old, damaged furniture, and neither had a desk. Additionally, the noise level was high. Finally, the clerk always attends from behind a protected window, which made me feel that the area might be unsafe.

Poor start, great finish

This is my favorite hotel to stay at when I visit Los Angeles, annually. I had some issues to begin my trip as the hotel sold my first floor ADA accompdated room, before I was able to get there and check-in, and only left me with a second floor room, that I could not safely access due to my disability. I was forced to stay at a less than satisfactory hotel, for a few days, until another ADA accompdated room became available at the property. Furthermore, I was left without housing, at 11pm the evening I was to arrive. After I was able to come back and check in a few days later, everything went great. I'm a big fan of this property and want to continue to enjoy staying here in my visits to Los Angeles, just hopeful I'm treated better, in tuned with my disabilities next trip, especially considering I'm a loyal customer of this property.

Terrible Cleaning Services

booked 2 rooms, both were run down with numerous non working items from the door security latch, hair dryer, moldy smelling refrig that wasn't cold. Had to use wet wipe to clean toilet seat because room cleaner didn't wipe previous guest grime from seat...yuke! Stains on every chair in both rooms. Will never stay at a Days Inn based on this experience & definitely avoid this South Gate location that is extremely poorly managed. Checking in is also joke as the employees have ZERO hospitality training. I was greeted with silence from night guy behind BR glass who stood there waiting for me to say something. nose ring and dressed like a slob. overall horrible experience and I couldn't apologize to my friend who I put up in the second room as his was worse with flies in the room!

I took pictures the queen size bed was full size, the door was filthy and the floorboards were dirty, near the headboard that didn´t go with the size of the bed had drippings on the wall. This place needs a good cleaning the staff was dry looked to 16 years old none caring attitude not friendly. The entryway had dirty stains on the sidewalk. The sink had rust stains around the stop that comet would ve cleaned up. The plugs were pulled out of the wall hanging with the tv plugged into it. The dirt behind the door in the corner showed it hadn´t been cleaned in a while (I have the pictures if you need me to send them) Went to use the iron and had blond hair with some type of glue on it along with stacks of dirt. I called the cleaning lady who was outside my door to show her, she apologize and went and got me a new iron, she was friendly and helpful. The parking lot had people sitting in foldable chairs with the trunk open drinking when I came in that night. This place was not what I booked. I arrive late for a wedding and only had time to change and run out the door. I will never stay at this place.
