The heat did not work at all. The remote for the TV didn’t work properly so I had to get another one, and that one didn’t work, so I had to go back to the front desk and get another one. They had given me a room right by the freeway so I heard traffic majority of the night and it took awhile to get to sleep. And then in the morning after a shower there wasn’t a blow dryer to dry my hair with. So all in all it wasn’t a good stay.

Excellent service with the managerJose and other team. But when I informed the front desk of the roaches in my room, he promised to transfer me to another room but it didn’t happen. severe cockroach infestation in a hotel requires immediate, professional fumigation and pest control, as these pests are serious sanitation hazards that breach the legal duty to provide habitable, clean accommodation. Also my room is next to the highway so it’s really very noisy. I took a photo of a roach in my room ceiling. I also saw them in the hallway with another guest as a witness. I should have taken more photos of baby roaches at night. I should get a refund at least of some of my payment. I’m still thankful I have a place to stay.

The place was dirty. There were cockroaches. You have to "ask" for shampoo but no one tells you. The shower drain was slow and tub filled. The shower head was in ill repair. It was disgusting and I will never stay in one of those places again.

Checked in at Extended Stay America Hotel located at 401 E. Santa Clara St., Arcadia, CA 91006 on 1/24/2026. Hotel stay was uneventful until 1/27 when hotel staff refused allowing me enter the room in the evening of 1/27/2026, claiming "room damage". The reason for the "room damage" was open window. Window was open in a normal way as intended. It can be opened and closed, in a normal regular way. Window was not locked nor fixed in place. There is no damage and was no damage. Nevertheless I was not let back in the room. Hotel staff refused return of my personal property which remained in the room. I demanded to see the manager. Manager was not at work. Hotel staff reluctantly agreed to return my personal property after telephone conversation with property manager. Hotel staff refused making new booking for a different room. I made new online reservation at ESA site at the same property for 1/27 through 1/28/2026. Front desk attendant still refused letting me in the room and cancelled my new reservation instead against my wish. A strange experience to say the least. I stayed at ESA properties many times. Experience was always positive. Hotel staff was always polite and helpful. What is going on at this property? Respectfully yours / Vitaly Feingold

Tv stopped working, staff attended the front desk during the day but at night there was no one there and no call button or bell to ask questions. It was a decent place to sleep that allowed us to bring our dog but I don't think we'll be back.

The staff was very courteous. Room shower had poor water pressure and poor hot water. Pet fees are ridiculous considering i paid to stay there for 3 weeks. Laundry room use was also expensive.

the breakfast menu was very limited, the hallways were very dirty, they haven't vacuum at all in weeks, literally they were very dusty, and you can see the same cereal on the hallways carpet for the whole week
