I rarely write reviews unless it’s excellent enough for me to wish this hotel the best and receive a great rating or in this case, not worth to the point that I hope no one else spends a cent on. I’ll point out the good and bad. I had an absolute fantastic experience with check in and front desk, they have been warm the entire time and helpful. However, walking inside the hotel, the sink was extremely small, water pressure was barely there, and the “clean towels” had boogers on them. I was able to pass by the first night by using the other towel that seemed more clean on the outside at least because it was late and I didn’t want to make a huge deal. On the second day, i left 3 dollars on the bed for room service so they can clean my room better but found out they did not clean my room, however they did clean my friends’ who was next door. I left around 9 am and came back around 1 am, the room cleaner had more than enough time to clean. It was late so I didn’t bother to call front desk. However it got annoying on the third day when they still haven’t cleaner my room. I had to inform the service lady that i want my room cleaned on the morning of the 4th day, and then my room was finally cleaned. On the 5th night, around 12 am when I came back I was informed that we should wait outside because there was someone inside the hotel that they were trying to get rid off, which the body guard and front desk handled professionally. My complaint is about the rooms and cleanliness.

Everything about this hotel is a nightmare, the shower leaked water everywhere, the AC unit was loud enough to keep us awake at night, and the hotel charged us an extra $600 on top of our stay and won’t tell us why or reverse the charge. Remove this hotel from your listing immediately they will scam their guests out of every penny they have.

The room was very clean. The staff were very professional and courtesy. Only thing odd was the room had windows that were fogged out as i expect the view would have been poor or obstructed.

The hotel is beautiful and a great price. A 3 min walk to LA LIVE. The restaurants are really beautiful and have good food. Only hang up we had was the TV didn’t have a remote and they couldn’t provide one. The hotel was very nice about it and it was too late for us to switch rooms so they gave us a discount. Very great staff.

My stay at Hotel Figueroa was disappointing and did not justify the cost. The experience began with poor valet service—despite charging over $60 per night, the valet did not receive or park my vehicle and instead instructed me to park myself. No luggage assistance was offered unless requested, which is unacceptable at this price point. There were a few positives: the bellhop, Andrew, was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about the hotel and its art, and the check-in staff were pleasant and professional. Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives. After checking in, only one elevator was functioning, causing inconvenience. While the room was clean, both the room and restroom were extremely small and did not meet expectations for the rate charged. Later, I visited the lobby bar, which was visually appealing and staffed by friendly employees. However, during the final hour before closing, I ordered two glasses of the “house” Chardonnay and was charged over $60. This pricing felt excessive and unreasonable. Overall, the service issues, limited amenities, small accommodations, and high costs made this stay a poor value. Until these issues are addressed, I cannot recommend Hotel Figueroa.
