The entire home was very clean and nicely furnished. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms and for outdoor use. Fully equipped kitchen, great air conditioning for those warm evenings. Beautiful garden and refreshing swimming pool. We used the hot tub a lot and our hosts were always quick to turn it on and off for us. Perfect location for our needs and we slept so well.

Fantastic stay

Our hosts couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. The home was clean, comfortable and everything we needed. The backyard is gorgeous. If the property is available, we would definitely stay there again.

Lovely Getaway

Our family had such a nice stay at Logan & Kat’s beautiful guest home. The yard is absolutely gorgeous, relaxing, & serene. The pool & hot tub provided endless entertainment for our three young kids & a relaxing escape for our whole family. Great neighborhood & location. Logan & Kat are accommodating & responsive hosts.

Beautiful home and yard with kind knowledgeable hosts!

What a gorgeous and clean home this was! Our family of 5 fit perfectly in this home, which was centrally located and a breeze to get in and out of. The backyard was gorgeous and the home had everything we needed and more. Be sure to checkout their suggested restaurants as they were great recommendations! We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property and lovely owners!

We loved our stay in this beautiful property. The house is lovely, very comfortable and spacious. The backyard and pool are gorgeous and we enjoyed spending our evenings cooling down and having fun in it! The hosts are just the nicest, helpful people you could meet. We definitely recommend staying here and if we ever come back to LA - we would most certainly stay here again!

Amazing Encino Getaway

We had a lovely stay with Kat and Logan. They are the most kind, helpful and communicative hosts. Their guest home is so warm and cozy and the backyard is breathtaking (you have to see it to fully appreciate its beauty and serenity). The neighborhood is very safe and quiet and stores and restaurants are close by. We didn't want to leave!

Succulent Stay near L.A.

We had a wonderful stay at Kat & Logan’s property. This ideal location gave us access to all of the things a tourist in L.A. would want to see for the first time. In the evenings we appreciated the succulent gardens and landscaping from the heated pool and hot tub. We enjoyed being able to walk to the local stores and restaurants. The hosts were resourceful, attentive and helped make our vacation easy and memorable. Thank you!

Just what we needed

We loved this house and property. There was such an attention to detail. Anything we needed was available. Beach towels, shampoo, full kitchen, bedroom set ups, living room areas, couches, anything we could think of. It was the most pleasant experience. Logan was so helpful for the pool and hot tub and restaurants. I couldn't imagine a more successful family vacation, because we had this house to come back to an relax between adventures.

The Perfect Oasis

This guesthouse is the perfect place for a family or couple to stay while enjoying LA. There is much thought put into all aspects: plenty of bath and beach towels, coffee and tea available, and lots of tips from Logan, our host. He was extremely accommodating and helpful. The secluded backyard garden and pool were a delight as we utilized it each day for a bit to escape the busyness of the city. I would come here again if I return to the area!

An Absolute Oasis!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family! It was very well kept and immaculate. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet, yet close to anything we needed. Having never been to California before, we planned 1 tour or scheduled experience each day, and returned late afternoon to relax and recharge in the pool and hot tub. The backyard was our favorite spot! The gardens were outstanding! Perfect for morning coffee, making plans for the day, relaxing in the afternoon, and having dinner on the grill at night. Just incredible!

Phenomenol stay in an enchanted location

Couldn’t be a better location to see everything in the area. It’s 15-20 minutes from everything. The yard, pool area and hot tub are gorgeous and a hot tub after long days was awesome. Owners couldn’t be more helpful or accommodating. Best VRBO we have ever stayed at. Convenience was 100%. Food and Starbucks walking distance. So close to Ventura Blvd and Muholland drive. The whole experience felt like staying with family!!! Will definately come back

Amazing family vacation in beautiful guest house

We had an amazing time on our family vacation to LA with many thanks to Kat and Logan. They were attentive hosts, who provided many excellent ideas for places to visit, restaurants etc. and they made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy our stay in their guest house. The neighborhood was quiet and their backyard was truly an oasis. We thoroughly enjoyed late afternoons/ evenings using the pool and hot tub, which were often shaded by that time of day which was wonderful as well. If/when we go back to LA, we would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Kat and Logan, for all that you did to make our stay special! Also, we highly recommend Anita La Momma Del Gelato on Ventura Blvd for the most amazing ice cream (gelato).

Absolutely WOW! Just incredible!

If you need to relax and wind down at the end of the day, just want a clean, quiet place to stay, had any issues with previous rentals and/or hosts? Maybe a small escape from home? THIS is where YOU need to go! This guest house is nothing short of amazing! The pictures/description in the listing do not do this place, or the warm and wonderful hosts any justice. Kat and Logan made us feel like we were on a trip staying with family. Truly kind and warm. Kat was so helpful with letting us know about the area. We also had a few great mornings outside having coffee and talking while the dogs ran around. Kat is an absolute expert at anything to do with plants! Just ask. Logan was so wonderful about turning on the hot tub at night for us! My poor body was so tired, and it was incredible... Just wait until you see the backyard at night with the pool lit up. You will feel like you stepped into a picture. The house is very, very nice. I could live in the bathroom and closet upstairs, just those rooms by themselves, and be a very happy person. This place is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. I know I will be staying at Shady's Shangrilad every time I come to Southern California! We got to meet Shady and Maggie!!! I think Shady and my little one were just the bestest friends when they seen each other. I also have to add, I accidentally left an item that had very important items. Kat went to UPS and had it overnighted to me. And would not let me repay. Bless you both.

Great Location and Very Relaxing
