Pros: 1. mostly clean (found a toy and a few socks when we moved the coffee table). 2. The property manager, Tyler, usually responded promptly to our Qs3. plentiful parking in the locked garage below the building4. Jacuzzi felt greatCons: 1. Instructions for getting the transponder (for the parking garage) from a keybox attached to a chainlink fence across the street from the apartment building was confusing and took almost an hour, 2. The spacious closets had no hangers. Not one.3. Nightstands were missing light bulbs.4. We were instructed not to mention VRBO to anyone from the building, but say we were visiting friends. 5. The EV charger we were told during booking was universal worked only for Teslas. (We rented a Kia.) We ordered an adapter which did arrive while we were still in town, but the Amazon deliveryperson locked it in a package room that no one on site had the key for.6. Based on VRBO’s “vicinity“ picture of the apartment, I’d planned on walking to Cedars-Sinai for my surgery, but once we received the VRBO check-in materials, I realized walking the actual five miles (as noted in Taylor’s written description) was not practical. Working with Taylor was challenging (2-star) like she had too much on her plate to pay attention to us, but the apartment itself was nice, so I’m rating 4 since 3.5 isn’t possible.
