This is a little motel turned into a hotel. Of course you’re not going to have the luxuries of a larger proper hotel, but our stay was fine enough that I’d consider coming back. A major benefit is how close it is to the activities we wanted to do.
The good:
- Walking distance from Warner Brothers Studio and a bunch of restaurants
- Free coffee, tea, water, and ice in the main office
- Room/sheets were clean and smelled fine despite a few reviews reporting a musty odor.
- Kind and attentive staff
- We didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean and well-maintained.
The bad:
- Bathroom is tiny and can be a challenge if more than one person is in there.
- Wallpaper is peeling and you can see the uneven cuts.
- Pillows were too firm and lumpy for my taste.
- Breakfast is only a small selection of pastries from a local bakery and they’re soft and not fresh, but it’s something.
- Parking on the actual property is limited. There are four regular spots and one handicap. We didn’t bring a car so it wasn’t an issue, and I’m sure there are off-property spots, but something to keep in mind if that’s important to you.
