"Nice room with comfy bed and pillows. The grounds are beautiful with lush greenery and flowers, and lots of little places to walk or sit. The breakfast in the lobby each morning was very good, with excellent coffee served. I really enjoyed the purified water dispenser to fill my bottle, and the EV chargers are a real bonus too. The little Market on site makes delicious sandwiches. The hotel staff were all very kind and attentive. It was a fabulous stay. "

"The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking the Boardwalk, wharf, and beach. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a dog-friendly room, so we got to bring our fur babies. The pool and beach access are great, and they have umbrellas and chairs you can borrow if you are going to another great (dog) beach. Lots of food options are close by, and DoorDash is an easy pick up at front desk. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area. "

"You have to pay for parking either to the hotel or metered parking on street. The hotel seemed dated. Not nearly as nice as i had hoped for how much you pay. The bathroom sink had corn stuck in the drain. Room also had an old smell to it. The view was of the hotel accross the street. You had to be on the balcony to see the beach. There are other hotels better priced offer more and cleaner. I would not choose to stay here again."

"The pictures made it seem like this was an upscale hotel near the ocean with a nice common area. The room was old - the entire hotel was under construction, and someone was loudly cleaning outside my room at midnight. The walls were thin and the amenities from the pictures don’t match the experience."

"There was a homeless person sleeping in the breakfast place on the floor and charging his cell phone, and another one outside looking inside the cars that were parked.☹️"

"La Bahía was a really good choice for our honeymoon. The location is excellent, right across from the Santa Cruz pier and beach, and the property felt newly renovated. Everything looked clean, fresh, and updated. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. We chose a partial ocean view instead of an accessible room because we wanted the better view, and it still worked well for us. For accessibility, the carpet was thick but manageable, the doorways were easy to get through in a manual chair, and the room felt spacious enough to navigate comfortably. The hotel is also right off the main street, which made it easy to roll up and down the boardwalk. There is an automatic door button outside the building, though not one inside, but staff were usually quick to help. The pool and hot tub were standout amenities. The pool had a chair lift available, which I appreciated seeing even though I did not use it. The hot tub was especially easy to use. The hand rails made it much easier for me to lift myself up, move my legs over, and get settled without dealing with slippery tile or awkward entry. Room service was also very good. The only downside during our stay was High Tide. We waited about 35 minutes for one plate of pesto rigatoni, and the interaction afterward with the waitress and manager felt a little awkward. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay and would absolutely come back."
