「The room was great! The hotel has a lot of character and is really unique! The staff was always pleasant and helpful as well! The only issues we ran into was that there was construction going on the hotel that would always start early morning, then there were also some issues with the water and it was unavailable. Other than that, it was an amazing stay and we'd be happy to come back! Maybe next time we can leave a 5 star rating!!」

「We enjoyed our stay at Portobello. The room and common areas were beautiful and well-kept. I would definitely stay there again. My only criticism was that the water was not working when I tried to use it in the early part of morning (around 2am), but was working fine other than that. 」

「The hotel is old, no good maintenance, no hot water in the bathroom. I stayed this hotel many years ago, not bad but this time, very disappointed. I changed another hotel immediately after staying one night.」

「Overall, the hotel had some positives, but there were definitely areas that need improvement. The room was comfortable and clean, although a bit outdated compared to what I expected. The amenities were nice, and the staff throughout the hotel was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the pool area service was extremely disappointing. The system of assigning one specific server to each guest/table created long delays and made the experience frustrating. We waited over 30 minutes just to place...
