  • This charming ground floor cottage with Free Wifi , full of character offers a unique setting for your rural holiday with a spacious and cosy one level living area refurbished to include Internet access and satellite TV, a large open plan kitchen-dining room, comfortable lounge with fireplace and wood burner with spectacular sea and valley views. The cottage is ideal for couples wanting to escape or even for families up to six with two full bathrooms . There are two bedrooms, one with a large double bed and another with two twin beds, plenty of cupboard space available and a double sofa bed. Outside plenty of garden furniture, sun beds and BBQ - perfect for al fresco dining during the warmer months. The terrace leads into the cottage´s delightful rose garden with breathtaking views of the Orotava Valley and the Atlantic Ocean across to the island of La Palma. This casita is one of four tranquil rustic dwellings surrounded by Tenerife´s nature and vineyards boast a secluded picturesque location on the outskirts of the rural wine producing village of Palo Blanco, The original finca has recently been converted into unique properties waiting for you to discover the "Real Tenerife" . Live like a local and discover our island culture . Explore our history and nature trails in El Teide National Park Herritage site , experience dining in our Guachinche´s , take a stroll through the historical town of La Orotava or celebrate our local fiestas . Très reposant

Le logement est parfaitement décrit dans l'annonce et très confortable. Nous avons apprécié les pièces spacieuses, le grand jardin et le jacuzzi. Le lieu est très calme et la vue incroyable. La communication avec la propriétaire, Lesley, était parfaite du début à la fin. Réponse rapide, et toujours arrangeante et agréable. Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux. Merci

Lovely peaceful April break

We had a really pleasant stay in this excellent accommodation. The house was spacious with a great open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room. It was fully equipped and there was a great log burner which was very cosy on chilly evenings. The garden is big and overlooks the vineyards with a wonderful view over Puerto de la Cruz and the sea in the distance. Lesley gave us some very helpful advice regarding places to visit and good restaurants to try. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a relaxing quiet stay, but a car is essential really to get around. Also, the peace and quiet does mean you sacrifice a few degrees of heat....it is warmer on the coast!

Beautiful house in rural Tenerife

A nice, quite house in the Orotava Valley, having a garden with a view on the Ocean. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room with a kitchen and a fireplace. Clean and comfortable. We appreciated the charcoal BBQ and the wi-fi connection. Supermarkets are just a 5' drive away. The house is on the road to the amazing Teide National Park. The owner is very kind.

Komfortable Wohnung, angenehm gestaltet, herrlicher Blick aufs Meer auf ca. 600 m über Meer. Grosszügiger Garten, viel Platz auch für vier Personen - an der Sonne oder im Schatten. Im Januar direkte Sonne von etwa 10 bis 16 Uhr. Völlig ruhig. Elekrische Beheizung ist ok für kältere Tage, natürlich nicht so komfortabel wie eine Zentralheizung. Cheminee schnell betriebsbereit. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Great place, great host!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lesley's place. The view was great and the house was very spacious. Our kids (3 and 1) also enjoyed the garden 500 meters above sea level can be a bit colder than at sea, but the beach was nearby. Lesley really helped us out after we forgot some of our clothing at the house at our departure. She sent these clothes to our house in Holland, so we were very happy she would do this for us. So all in all, great place and great host!

Schöne Finca, toller Ausblick, manchmal in den Wolken...

Sehr komfortables Haus mit insgesamt 3 Einheiten, sehr schöner Garten zur alleinigen Nutzung. Insgesamt sehr sauber, gut ausgestattete Küche, funktionierendes W-lan, bezogene Betten (nicht das lästige Gewurstel aus Laken und Decke...) Tolle Aussicht aufs Orotavatal und nach Puerto de la Cruz. Wenn die Wolken tief hängen, einfach runter nach Pto. Cruz fahren, oder hoch bis 1800 m: dort scheint die Sonne meist über den Wolken. Ruhige Lage auf geschlossenem Grundstück. Zentrale Lage für Ausflüge im schönen Norden der Insel. Nach Puerto Cruz ca. 20 min., Santa Cruz ca. 40 min. mit dem Auto; Auto sollte schon sein! Wir waren zu fünft mit jugendlichen Kids und haben und sehr wohl gefühlt!

schönes, großes appartment mit tolem garten und aussicht über das tal bis zum ozean

schön ruhig gelegen, kein verkehrslärm, mit der möglichkeit schnell in die höhen des orotava tal zu gelangen und ebenso nach unten an die strände, etwa 20 min in beide richtungen. auch direkt zum teide kommt man hier. großer, sehr gepflegter garten mit frischen zitronen und avocados. jetzt, im dezember, war es manchmal etwas kühler, aber dank heizstrahler und kamin haben wir es uns abends immer schön warm machen können. das ist insofern erwähnenswert, als dass wir im norden bereits kühle und auch etwas feuchte unterkünfte kennengelernt haben. auch innen ist das appartment die 5 sterne wert, es ist großzügig geschnitten, sehr gut ausgestattet, mit großer küche und allen gerätschaften. wahrscheinlich auch das einzige appartment auf teneriffa, mit angenemer schlafzimmerausstattung: keine plastikfolie auf der matratze, sondern ein baumwollender schonbezug, kuscheliges feder-bettzeug. wir würden wieder kommen, wenn es uns nochmal in den norden zieht. übrigens insofern eine nette gegend, als dass die leute sehr nett und gelaunt sind - das leben pulsiert in den etwas weiter unten gelegenden städtchen. sehr gute kommunikation mit der vermieterin vor und während unserer zeit vor ort. nett war zb, dass wir bei unserer ankunft spät abends nicht den weg in die höhe selbst finden mussten, sondern uns jemand (sohnemann?) den weg zeigte und den weg voraus fuhr. eine woche sollte man mindestens vor ort bleiben, um die die möglichkeiten der gegend auszuschöpfen (strände, schöne dörfer, tierpark, höhenlagen, teide, chillen im garten etc). wir waren mit 2 kleinen kindern dort, passte sehr gut, inkl. kinderbett+hochstuhl.

Very nice flat in the vineyards

Very nice, cozy apartment where nothing was missing. The apartment was beautifully furnished in a rustic country style. There were 2 bedrooms, a nice large living / dining room, equipped with a wood stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, gas stove, oven and microwave oven. There was even a storage room with a washing machine and freezer. The bathroom was well furnished and like the whole apartment has probably been renovated recently. In the outdoor area was a grill place with a Webergrill and nice seating available. The wonderful view over the vineyards and the steep slope down to the sea was amazing. Furthermore, there was in the outdoor area avocado, lemon and orange trees whose fruit you could use. The landlady was very nice and helpful and gladly with tips for the shopping, restaurants and leisure activities to the side. Thus, one had the opportunity to get to know local, regional products and to support the local population. A particularly good tip was the local restaurant "La Suertita", without this recommendation a tourist probably would not find it. And for barbeque we got the best meat at all from a really hearty local butcher from Cruz Santa We would go back to Lesley anytime again :-)!

RURAL PARADISE

I have just returned from this lovely cottage with my family , the views and location are just spectacular, ideal for hiking and exploring the island . The cottage is full of character and charm , it was spotlessly clean on arrival and accommodated the four of us perfectly. We especially liked the garden area which was totally private and ideal for our evening BBQs . We had a small problem with the hot water on arrival but it was sorted immediately by Lelsey and her team , I would definitely return without a doubt !!
