"This place is an absolute gem! The host has thought of every little detail to ensure a comfortable stay. The property offers the perfect escape; it’s convenient to town but feels entirely secluded and surrounded by nature. We absolutely loved having the river right at the edge of the yard and enjoyed dining by the riverbank for a couple of dinners. It was the perfect home base for visiting North Cascades National Park!"

"A charming place with a nice restaurant, which was unfortunately only open on weekends. Coffee, too, was only available on 2 of the 5 days I stayed there and Index itself has little or no other amenities. I would suggest they put small coffee stations in the rooms!"

"This cabin is a little piece of heaven on Earth! It is secluded, peaceful and beautiful. The cabin is small but for 2 people it is perfect! It is very clean. The sheets and towels are soft and radiant white! There is everything you could need and more. The location is amazing, right on the river, all you hear is the water and the birds! We saw a couple of people on their kayaks passing once, but no other human interactions, unless we went to the store! Cell reception is poor but for me it was a plus! Can’t wait to go back!The only thing that could have made this stay even better, a couple of lounge chairs to sit outside. I Highly recommend this rental. It is even better than on the pictures!"
