I was pleasantly surprised with the Inn, as the town appears to be in a funk. The room was spacious, comfortable and nicer than expected! I was able to see the sunrise from the room every morning!
Clean. Big bathroom. Bed squeaky. Walkable to river and some eating spots. It is full of history and the building was renovated beautifully. There were no common spaces to sit, it would be nice to have that outside of room 11. We would return.
This was a very nice place. The updated building was done nicely, keeping the rustic look of old, with a touch of new. Room was clean and spacious. The only thing I could complain about was the small a/c unit, that seemed to struggle on the hot day. The room wasn't hot, but definately could have been cooler to relax in, after a day in the heat.
The bed was very squeaky with a hard mattress. Light bulb out in the bathroom. Both bedside lamps were not functional. The in room air conditioner kept the room cool but it was annoyingly loud.
The room and the bathroom appeared to be very clean and homey.
The room was cozy and lovely. We stayed one night on our way to Lake of the Ozarks. For those with waking restrictions, there is long flight of stairs and no elevator. I recommend the hotel.
The room was great. Our only complaint is the food options. Louisiana is a small town with few restaurants. We were there on Monday night when most of them were closed. Wednesday through Sunday would probably be better, but we weren't there then.
Very clean, I'm 80 and had a very difficult time hauling luggage up several flights of stairs. No Kleenex. No breakfast. TV audio was sub-par, I gave up on the TV. No desk or place to use computer.
