L'Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles

10/10 Excellent

"Check in was a disappointment. The young girl who checked us in was very rude, and acted like it was a bother to have to wait on us. She was not only rude, but she was also stretching across the counter like she was tired and was ready to go, mind you it was about 3pm. My daughter checked in with the other lady next to her and her experience was pleasant. We had the same attitude with the lady that gave us out Players Card, she was not polite at all - not even because we were trying to be polite. She had major attitude and was basically like here - take your card and move along. The Bell Hops were Amazing and Gracious. The Casino, Restaurants and staff at these locations were also very Gracious. We enjoyed our stay other than then check in & players club and hope that next time we go back - we will have staff that enjoys their jobs greeting guests!"

"Absolutely amazing stay! My significant other and I really enjoyed our visit. The room was wonderful, and we were especially grateful to find such a beautiful hotel that accommodated my service dog. I did want to share a couple of small suggestions. First, the tint or film on the suite windows made it difficult to fully enjoy the city view. If it could be removed, the view would truly be TOP TIER. And also the lighting wasn’t as great bulb needs to be on 75/100 watts. lol I really like to see in the room it was so dim, but we made it work! Second, around 10:00 a.m., housekeeping began trying to enter the room by rattling the door handle. Didn’t knock and luckily he was standing near to grab the door and yell out we’re still in here….and immediately he grab the door bc he was indisposed and not dressed, Our checkout time was 11:00 a.m., not 10:00 a.m. He was upset and we mentioned it to the front desk manager, who said he would let housekeeping team know. about the incident!! Other than that, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be staying again!"
