This carriage house was built at the turn of the century as part of the Speed Mansion (the first house in Louisville to have a telephone) at the corner of Garvin Place and Ormsby. It has been fully renovated to accommodate guests looking for a little piece of the Derby City charm.

The Space:
Walk upstairs to an open floor kitchen/living room with lots of natural light, a nook dining area, and a large TV. Newly renovated kitchen includes dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and a range of cooking supplies. A bedroom with two twin beds shares a bathroom with a queen bedroom. Queen bedrooms all have white noise machines. Downstairs houses the master bedroom and private bathroom as well as a fully stocked laundry area. Guests also have access to a garage, if needed, where you can store a small, possibly mid-sized vehicle. A serene English-style private courtyard that is shared with both units is the perfect place to unwind. Solar walkway lighting illuminates the courtyard at night.

The garage can house a small to medium sized car - additional parking is available for free on the street, which is a block up from the alley.
