Beautiful House and Garden

We were a group of 6 friends. We really enjoyed the house and the proximity to Lourmarin. The house is lovely and the gardens beautiful. Especially enjoyed the petanque pitch. We had to request parasols as there was very little shade around the pool in the afternoons and these were quickly provided.

Lovely Stay in a beautiful village

The property was well situated and very comfortable with an excellent swimming pool. The heat was up to 37°C which made the swimming pool a necessity rather than an extra. The hosts were very helpful in organising a babysitter at very short notice, and could not have been more considerate. There was a minor contretemps (entirely our own fault) which was resolved amicably. Very happy to recommend.

The House was amazing, well equipped with everything we needed! the Pool was divine!!!There were some games, that we wanted to play, but they were missing pieces. we bought a new deck of cards and poker chips and a few things for the lively house .we can’t wait to return!

Wunderschön gelegenes Haus, viel Platz bietend (dépendance!), 10 Minuten zu Fuss von Lourmarin. Unkomplizierte Gérance. Sehr zu empfehlen für einen Urlaub mit Familie und Freunden. Der Poolbereich könnte etwas besser unterhalten sein (nicht brauchbares Aussen-WC, zu wenig Liegestühle für ein Haus für bis zu 10 Personen). Würden wiederkommen.

Localisation très calme, à distance raisonnable du cœur du village par une petite route ombragée très agréable. La maison se prête bien à une indépendance avec une grande chambre en Rez de chaussée. Location bien équipée tant au niveau de cuisine et fond d'épicerie, ainsi que les activités extérieures : jeu de boules, jeux d'enfants, bicyclettes ( penser à des antivols), et belle piscine.

villa de standing avec jardin paysager, belle piscine, beaux matériaux, décoration de bon goût, éclairage au top avec luminaires design. Petits bémols tels que cafetière inutilisable, bouilloire entartrée, évacuation d’eau lente dans une des salles de bain, présence probable d’un rongeur dans l’annexe, aspirateur hors service et peu de réponse pertinente à certaines questions (ex: jour du passage des poubelles, modalités de remplacement de la cafetière). Ceci dit, cette location est globalement conforme à nos attentes.

Absolutely amazing!

Beautiful property , super comfortable and very well equipped . Short walk to Lourmarin, small picturesque Provençal village. We loved every minute of being there. Outdoor space with swimming pool adds extra value to this experience. We might come back .

A marvelous home with every comfort

This wonderful home is even better than the already great photos show. We ate every meal outdoors at the huge table and sat in the outdoor “living room” every day, all day. The home is spacious, and all 4 of the bedrooms and bathrooms are as advertised. I rented the pool house annex as well to make sure my group of seven people would have enough room but we didn’t really need it because the outdoor portions of the living space make the house seem to double in size. The garden is large enough to have paths than you can stroll, and everything is landscaped. It was hot while we were there, which made us appreciate the pool and how well the air conditioning worked. All of the appliances, including the washer/dryer and WiFi worked very well, and I was pleased that all TP, paper towels, trash bags, soap, etc. was provided, and previous guests had left lots of spices and oils and tea and other food. We did the same. This house is within walking distance of Lourmarin and is surrounded by small winding roads that provide lovely paths for morning walks in the countryside. The owner has been lovely to us, and the concierge was available to check us in, answer our questions and arrange for a ride to the Aix TGV for someone in our party. This was one of the best homes I’ve ever rented from vrbo and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I will definitely be back.

Superb property

This is our third stay at La Bastide Vitas, and it improves each year. The garden is beautiful, especially in June/July with lavender in bloom. A newly added seating area on the terrace is perfect for evening coctails. Serenity and appealing surroundings contribute to total relaxation. The amenities and location of this 4bd/4ba modern house 1/2 mile from Lourmarin are ideal.
