“Lovely host. The property is not a cabin as posted but a lovely little separate room under the owner’s home. Everything was there for a comfortable stay. Loved listening to the loons call from the lake as we fell asleep.”

“This property would be excellent for older couples and handicapped people. There's a ramp leading to the cottage and grab bars inside. Very peaceful and such a wonderful couple who owns it.”

“Property was clean and as described. Entrance to the building & unit was a little confusing because there’s a common area that we weren’t sure about. Host was great with communication!”

“The cottage was exactly as pictured and a perfect size for the two of us. We thoroughly enjoyed this charming rental and appreciated the prompt communication with the owners. It was easily accessible to downtown shops when we decided to walk. Mahone Bay is a lovely town with several shops nestled next to the water. Highly recommend! A side trip to Peggy's Cove was a highlight!!”

“Nice cabins close to amenities”

“Everything was great. The place was clean when we arrived and the hot tub was perfect. The view of the lake from the hot tub was just what the doctor ordered. We would definitely recommend and will be booking again. The instructions that were given about check in and check out were very clear. Glad the owner also explained directions as my gps did not send me the right way. Thank you for a lovely experience.”

“We enjoyed our stay very much! ”

“Property is absolutely beautiful, extremely clean, in a very convenient location. The property owners were very attentive to every need you could possibly have and were very easy to get in touch with. Would 100% recommend a stay here. And absolute dream!”

“Nice to have all the appliances and be able to do our laundry. Good location, Wilma was a responsive host. They need better signage - the building has a barber shop in it and 3 people coming for a haircut ended up knocking on our door because they couldn't find the entrance, which is through the Bubble Tea shop. Noisy in the day time but okay for sleeping.”

“Beautiful room … very well done”

“The Dordean Suites was above and beyond our expectations. Of all the places we stayed in on our road trip through Nova Scotia this was by far the most reasonable in terms of price and experience In addition to being beautiful, clean it offered so many unexpected amenities - a private hot tub, barbecue AND fire table for each unit and a welcome basket with delicious snacks. Each unit was bright, clean and spacious eith AC and heat. We had the privilege of meeting the owners Renena and Sean as……
