Good hostel to stay for a few days. Easy checking-in process, clean room. AC is not working well, but it’s okay. Breakfast was so so (since it was in Switzerland)… near the downtown.

I chose the Barabas Hotel for several reasons….price, location, breakfast included and good reviews….and was not disappointed. It fit our needs (which are simple…a clean and quiet room, comfortable bed and nice bathroom) and even exceeded expectations with towel service and room freshening each day. The front desk staff were both welcoming and full of good information. We did arrive early so took advantage of the luggage storage offered. The breakfast provided was more than sufficient and I’d give anything to have one of their superb coffee machines! Would I go back? Yes! Can I recommend it to friends? Yes!

This was probably the most interesting place I have ever stayed, a former prison! But it was clean, the staff friendly and the breakfast worth while! I would recommend it for its quiet location too and a short walk to the main attractions and restaurants 😀

Great location in interesting setting. Our main complaint was that the room was very stuffy and hot. There was a fan in the room but difficult to keep three of us cool. We just landed in Switzerland and this was fine for night one to recover from jet lag.
