Overall this hotel was decent and I would stay again. 1. The air conditioning is quite weak, somehow I don't think the conditioner is sized correctly for the room's cubic area as it took ages for it to change the temperature - with the windows closed, and radiator off. The hotel is evidently well-insulated but getting rid of excess heat is an issue. 2. Car parking - specific numbered spaces are allocated but multiple times cars were parked in different spaces, including the one assigned to me - just a free for all. There's no real need to allocate a specific space though as long as the hotel doesn't over-provision, which I don't think they would. 3. Breakfast - the selection was diverse but some staff members are much better than others at helping - there's a clear gap in the training levels with some who are really good and some not so great. The hotel caters mainly to tour groups and I think there were maybe half a dozen non-group customers staying at any one time.

Highly recommend this Hotel. We got upgraded (a lovely surprise) to a room with view over Lake Lucerne, beautiful. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were always friendly, very helpful. A bus stop outside the hotel was perfect to get into Lucerne but walking along the lake on the pathway to Lucerne was preferred, easy, safe, entertaining and just stunning. The common areas of the hotel were inviting and very comfortable. Breakfast had enough variety to please everyone, delicious. Thanks for our perfect stay.

Walkable but convenient to the bus stop and the hotel provides a bus pass! Great Mountain View’s along with lovely landscaping. Breakfast buffet nice but not varied so by day 4 we were bored of choices. Had to have a fan brought to room as AC was inadequate except in the hallway which was really cold. Would definitely stay here again though!!!

Love love this hotel. It was very clean and staff are super friendly. I’m definitely staying here again and will recommend everyone to check this place out. We took advantage of the bus right in front of the hotel. You can cross the street and be at the most peaceful part of Lake Luzern. I enjoyed my walk and dipping my feet in the lake. I can’t wait to go back! Oh and the breakfast was heavenly.

Hotel is in the nice and quiet area of Haldenstrasse. Its about 10 min drive to the train station. Ensure that you got everything in the "downtown area" like shopping, food and etc. Considering this is in Luzern everything is closed almost after 9:00 pm except maybe some kebab and pizza place or Mcdonalds and Burger King. We got the lakeview front room. However the view is not full due to some treees and building in front. I dont recommend if you want the view but worth if you want the extra room size. For the amenities, towels are replaced and beds are made. I dont believe the room is cleaned except for taking out trash. There were 2 still and 2 sparking water on 1st day that were not replaced. Also included is free breakfast. It's a standard western breakfast buffet. Its a great positive since most food in the city are expensive. Theres also a free luzern city card that allows free bus and boat ride for your duration of stay.

They asked (and we had to pay) extra charges for our daughter even though we had booked a quadruple room. The shower ceiling was too low. We were not able to shower without hitting our heads and shoulders.

Don’t stay here.

Place was clean. I’ll give it that. But a hotel room is meant for a sleeping and showering. The place advertised ac, our room was 80 degrees at best. It was cooler in the hallway. The shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold. Would never recommend.

Our first room had a very wet floor and only room for one of the children so we called the service desk and they rectified the situation in minutes. They moved us into a beautiful room and helped us get settled in. The staff at the front desk also helped us plan our stay there. The staff in the kitchen was wonderful. We had bought a meal that needed to be reheated and they graciously did it for us. Our breakfast was great for all of the days as well. The bus stop is right outside of the door and minutes away from the town. We loved it and would stay here again.
