Check in guy was cold, asked for king bed on first floor and he claims he didn't see the instructions included and was not happy to change the room and ended up with 2 queen beds on first floor instead of a king. Told him I was handicapped, after telling us room was on second floor with no elevator. u could tell he didn't care. Ice machine was broke, No milk for breakfast, no wifi and he wouldn't answer phone to be able to tell him. Commnication was terrible

The trash outside by the door to go in was overflowing and all over the ground and no one even did a thing the 3 days that we were there......NEVER again!!! Room had stains on the comforter and bathroom was gross!!

After I checked in, I found out there was a $25.00 a night dog charge, and yet the site on line claims "Dog Friendly" what else was I going to do, I drove from flint to meet with Larry Anderson, who has bad Dementia, and he did not recognize my name or my husbands name or the previous dog's, we boarded their. did not recognize the four children's name we would camp with and so on. Once I unloaded the vehicle into the room, the floor was sticky the microwave, refrigerator, bathroom, tables, chares, hair on bathroom tile walls. I loaded up the dog, went to a store purchased $25.99 in cleaning supplies. and Cleaned until 11:30 PM. I talked to the front desk about it the next morning along with a large paper plate of black Lysol wipes. They refunded Sat. one dog fee and the $50.00 deposit I had to put down just incase I destroyed the room. I left it in better shape then it was before I arrived. It took until after 2:00 PM and I had to ask if my room was clean yet? No, But someone will go there now. So Dog and I had to kill another hour, we checked out Friday instead of Saturday. I do not recommend this motel at all.

CONS-The cost for this stay was too expensive. Major updates were needed to the exterior halls and doors. The whirlpool is outdated. PROS- The room decor was updated. The bathroom vanity mirror was nice. The showerhead needed an update. Also wished they added drapery with the blackout curtains. You can easily see into the room of the curtains were open. Breakfast was ok. Wished they added a meat option to the waffle station.
