“My parents were there to celebrate my dad’s birthday, and although we celebrated a little late, they had such a wonderful experience. “Sehr schön gelegene Lodge mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Leider hatten wir in der 2. Nacht Ratten im Zelt was weniger schön war..es wurde sich aber schnell darum gekümmert. Zudem sind die Einheimischen in der Umgebung anscheinend sehr Partyfreudig, weswegen es manchmal bis 23 Uhr sehr sehr laut war! Schade… aber alles zusammen ein guter Aufenthalt.”

“This hotel is located just in front of the entrance of Bundala national park. I really enjoyed early morning safari which they recommended. They provided me an upgraded room, and free dinner. That was so surprising. And I could see an elephant from the balcony at night. I hope to come back with friends in top season because they told me that we can camp in the national park with reasonable price.”

“Lucky, i saw four leopards, two in evening safari and two in morning. Even we weren’t the first car arrived but the diver/guider can find the best locations to us for taking picture once the leopard moving. It is because he can estimate the animal behavior with well-known of yala national park. He is Achi, one of the best safari driver and guider. “This is fabulous hotel! Very picturesque, clean, modern and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The pool is a great size with a modern gym. We stayed here for easy acess to Yala national park which is only about 20 mins away. ”

“Seemed the best hotel in the area. Room big with a terrace leading to the very attractive large pool with the lake and a tree house to climb. Monkeys about who were fun to watch. Breakfast more to Asian tastes than mine but French toast, potato’s, fruit and breads available.It was very quiet during our stay with more staff than guests! Good choice for Yala but recommend the wild edge restaurant opposite in the evening for a drink.”

“We knew this would be an adventure in the jungle without normal comforts but this was really disappointing. The tent were generally quite dirty but the main problem is the only toilet on the whole site is in your own tent and out tent smelt of sewage so badly we left after one night as we could not stand another night there. There were also a million insects including a giant millipede as the zips do not completely seal off tent. Then the bar was not operating as their licence has expired. The……
