The perfect getaway. Located in a quiet rural area is a secluded cottage for the privacy you are searching for. With a big yard and nature paths you will find nature at its best. Cow pastures are all around, and the beautiful white tail deer can be seen wondering around if you’re lucky enough to catch a glance. Your canine friends are more than welcomed with a kennel setup so when you’re relaxing they can be relaxing outdoors safely. If you schedule a vacation in winter or early spring the creek located on the property will probably be flowing from the runoff of the mountain snows. And when frozen it is beautiful for photographers. Or in summer when it will likely be dry it is great for rock collecting.

Nestled in between to mountains, the beautiful Blue Ridge to the east and the awesome Massanutten to the west. The Blue Ridge is home to the scenic Skyline Drive and the Massanutten is home to the George Washington National Forest both with many trails to explore. A river runs through the valley the much appreciated Shenandoah. Only 6 miles away plenty of fun can be found on the river: canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and fishing accessible by many public boat landings. Located on Rt 658 bicyclist will find 7 miles of a country road to ride and enjoy. For a longer ride Lake Arrowhead would be the perfect destination and is also open for boating and fishing. Only 4 miles from historic downtown Luray with its Antique Shops and Hawksbill Creek Greenway, the world famous Luray Caverns, Golf Course, Country Club, and Airport are close by, the Heritage Festival in October, and Page Valley Agricultural and Industrial Fair in August are within a 5 minute drive. For the wine connoisseur Wineries are all around the valley with a couple very close by. All of this 100 miles from DC and Richmond. A cozy getaway but close enough to have delivery from Dominos, Anthony’s, and Domenico’s. What more could you ask for to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a quick weekend vacation or a weeklong vacation to give you time to explore the beautiful surroundings of Page County.
