“best hotel ever”

“What a fabulous hotel! We loved the Pavillon - with all its charm and character. The hotel is beautifully furnished and decorated, in a lovely countryside setting with a beautiful view of the valley and vineyards. The breakfast was fantastic - with quiches and fresh breads, croissants, baked apples, fresh juices, jams, yogurts and eggs prepared fresh to your order. David and Nathalie are outstanding hosts and we loved our stay.”

“This property is staffed with very professional and knowledgeable staff whose job it is to make their guests comfortable and happy. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the Chateau and took the vineyard and wine storage areas with our guide, Thomas. One cannot go wrong with the comfortable and large rooms here, very isolated that we were able to recover from our jet lag (from the USA) without any road or civilization clatter and noise. “This B&B can only be reached by car. The room is clean. The staff are welcoming and helpful. They do not provide dinner but they will introduce the restaurants nearby. They own a vineyard. Guests are free to visit. They have a wine tasting session at 7 pm. The staff there explained their wine production in details. The wines are good. We have bought a few bottles from them. The breakfast was great. Surely will visit there again if we go to Bordeaux.”

“The hotel is an excellent property! Our suite 2012 was huge, and the bathtub was the largest that we had ever seen in our life! The suite was well kept, very spacious and amenities were really good. The breakfast was outstanding as well, and the staff was helpful. The reason I took off a point is that the hotel is not easily accessible, especially if you have a lot of luggage. It is a huge inconvenience carrying the luggage up and down the pebbled street, so the hotel should pro-actively inform……

“We stayed at Michelle’s beautiful guest house for 4 nights in June and what a gem of a find it was! From the moment we booked to stay at 537 St.Emillion, communication was excellent and our welcome was really wonderful. Because there are only 3 rooms, it felt very private, peaceful and special. The swimming pool was lovely. The gardens and views of vineyards and beautiful neighbouring villas was to die for. Michelle went out of his way to ensure our continental breakfasts were fresh every day,……
