Very nice friendly atmosphere and staff were very helpful. A special thanks to Summer who kindly posted a couple of items I had left in my room. Beautiful courtyard would definitely stay again.

Expectations should be tempered by the fact that this is a 300 y.o. building on a very busy road in the middle of town. Bearing that in mind the hotel is very clean and full of character which makes up for any of the above. They no longer do evening meals but the breakfasts are epic.

Great overnight stay

Amaizing location in town and very nice interior yard space ! Very friendly staff and good breakfast have maked for us a very pleasant overnight stay . The only thing still to work a bit is the comfort of the bed to be amaizing like all the rest .....

Nice over night stay

Very helpful and friendly staff , our room was at the front near the road but we couldn't hear the traffic , super comfy bed , the hotel bar was well stocked with cask ales on the pumps and were spot on .I really enjoyed the hearty breakfast next morning.

We stayed here as we were going to a family party, the hotel was very clean and very friendly. Breakfast had a great variety if you wanted Continental or full English it was on the menu. We had the family room which I would definitely recommend great size room. Nothing was too much trouble..

It is a unique property with a beautiful courtyard. It’s a little bit like a maze trying to find your room, but the room was spacious and well-appointed. The breakfast was very generous and delicious.

Really comfy bed - had a rare great ‘first night in a hotel’ sleep, breakfast service like being looked after by your Mum, bar has an amazing choice of whisky and nice courtyard - is clearly being invested in. We’d rate it a great choice for staying in the town.
