I really enjoyed the peaceful location and this hotel was a surprising great value. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Was my favorite hotel on our entire Egypt trip.

We stayed in this hotel back in march and it was amazing, the property was very clean as well as the rooms. The manager from the hotel was very kind and the whole staff were amazing. Definitely recommend this hotel. Planning on going back next year and definitely will stay in this same hotel.

Charming, Traditional and Calm

Had an amazing stay at Jewel Howard Carter Hotel. We had incredible service the entire time we were there - the staff were amazing and accomodating and had amazing recommendations the entire time. Laundry service was available and great price. Swimming pool was beautifully kept, they even had an organic farm with bananas, mangos and herbs. It’s in a quieter area of Luxor, so if you’re wanting to explore East Bank (the busier side of the city) be prepared for slightly higher taxi fares back but it’s definitely worth the peace and quiet. We would happily come back, and recommend it to everyone.

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. They accommodated us 5 in a family suite in the building next to the main structure (with another privatised little swimming pool) that had even a kitchen. Some waiting time for dinner and breakfast but all was very good. Very confortable to get to the the king and queen valley's a bit less for Luxor city.

Lovely common area. Good food. An oasis within a slightly out-of-the-way area; have a tour or self-transport if you are staying here. Room was clean but lacked warmth and charm.

The hotel is a beautiful oasis in the city. It's large central courtyard is perfect for dining or just relaxing. Restaurant for was delicious and wholesome. Our room was unique with a large dome in the ceiling. The staff were always helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

This property is a country-side hideaway to which you have to travel narrow dirt roads. In stead of cars and their tooting, you hear moo’s and other sounds from nearby yard with mules, camels, cows, etc. the owner-family is very nice to you. They grow veggies and fruits which they serve at the restaurant. The restaurant is open deck and it was rather cold in early February.

Nice family hotel with wonderful pool and view of the nile and banana-garden. Staff is helpful, friendly and takes care about everything. As I haven’t arrived by car they helped me to get a taxi or transferred me by tuk tuk to the nearby ferry station. I felt home.

WOW!! No other words This place is a true Jem. It’s nestled on the other side of Luxor in a very quintessential Egyptian village on the banks of River Nile . From excellent restaurant to amazing pool . This place is oasis !! I am a Canadian and travelled with Young family. This hotel beats any 5 star hotel in Cairo and Luxor. Great hotel with farm to table restaurant

This hotel is such a gem! The rooms are all unique, the pool is refreshing, and the food is delicious! I did not realize prior to booking that the hotel has their own small farm, and most (if not all) of the produce comes from their own gardens. Everything we ate was delicious! But most of all, the staff is absolutely wonderful! Everyone was so accommodating, helpful, making sure we were well looked after, well fed, and happy. The property is located on the West Bank, so it’s away from the city, and peaceful and quiet. The hotel can arrange a taxi for you anywhere you need to go. Don’t hesitate to stay here, it’s a fantastic value for your money.

I recently stayed alone for 3 nights. I was very satisfied with the hotel staff's response, room, and food. The location was on the west bank of the Nile River, so it was easy to access places like the Valley of the Kings, and unlike the east bank, it was quiet and comfortable. You will need a taxi to get around, but the hotel staff was very kind, so there was no problem. They took care of everything from taxis in the middle of the night to preparing breakfast in the early morning. This is a very satisfying hotel, so I recommend it.

Lovely, quiet and friendly

Really nice, quiet and friendly hotel hidden away on the West Bank. Not an awful lot to do in the vicinity, the West Bank is a rural area of dirt tracks and banana fields so not easy to walk to anything else. However, It is an easy took took ride to the ferry, which takes you to the east side and the city proper. The staff were always helpful, arranging taxis and took tooks and offering advice. The food was all tasty and the pool was a welcome respite at the end of the day. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Nice hotel

We spent only one night in this hotel and had to leave very early so we could not enjoy the hotel as we would have liked to. But the staff was very nice, we received a basket of fruits in our room as a welcome present, the cook even made us a coffee at 6am just before we left. The view of the room is amazing, unfortunately we could not test the jacuzzi in the roof top or the pool. The only down side of the hotel is that it is not easy to find (our driver had to ask people along the way) and far from the city. But if you want a quiet place to stay while in Luxor, this is the perfect place!
