The front desk staff was awesome. Everyone that we met were great. Hotel was very clean but it wasn’t your typical US hotel. The reception is a floor above the ground floor which was a little odd but once we figured it out, it was great.

Bedroom was a bit cramped. Décor and furnishings not really in keeping with the age of the building which seemed a bit of a shame. Breakfast was exactly the same every day - could have done with a bit of variation. Well situated for visiting the city.

Hotel looks a little different when you enter, reception is on the first floor, it is an old building and you do get that vintage smell when you walk in, bathrooms are the opposite to your vintage room and look a lot brighter. Staff were friendly, breakfast was a buffet, hotel is a good area, close to the old town, 35min walk to the top of the hill if you fancy it, 5 min walk to the Metro.

This hotel is in a great location in Lyon with easy access to public transport. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and so was the bathroom with a great shower. The building itself is old and full of character and the layout isn’t conventional, therefore our room was only small but functional. There were bigger rooms but none available for the dates I wanted. Breakfast was plentiful and good value with lots of choices that set you up for the day. Would I stay here again, definitely
