I appreciated the quick responses from the host. The apartment is ideal for one or two people. It was in a very convenient location. Close to vieux Lyon, Parc Tete d'or and the cathedrals. There were a couple of small grocery stores within a couple of blocks. I stayed in the apartment for 2 weeks and walked everywhere including back and forth from the Lyon Part Dieu train station. Public transportation seemed very close even though I didn't use it at all. The street behind the apartment had a fantastic restaurant, Astral, which I would urge everyone to try. The apartment had the charm of what I would think was an old Lyonaise apartment including the squeaky floors and small shower. The French window overlooks a green space. If I am ever in Lyon again I won't hesitate to stay in the place.
