“A smart little hotel with a decent sized bar area that terraced on to the street a good selection of drinks and background music lead to an easy going atmosphere. We never ate at the property as food is only available Wednesday to Sunday the room was well fitted out a brilliant shower with a good supply of consumables supplied ,the bed was ok the springs feel a bit worn, we drove to the hotel and parked the car in the Park pub opposite the hotel there's an arrangement where you put your car reg……

“Another excellent stay at The Leicester, from the moment you walk through the door you are greeted by Cliff, very friendly & welcoming. I stayed in room 10, a large lovely room, bed is a superior king-size & so comfy, the best bed I have ever slept in. This is now the second time I have stayed here & will definitely be back. Breakfast is really good, lots of choice, full English yesterday & freshly made pancakes with banana, blueberries & strawberries drizzled with maple syrup, delicious.”

“Staff were particularly helpful and pleasant not to mention very efficient. Abi was the very best example of a staff member who did everything to ake our short stay enjoyable. The shower in room 11 needs attention as does the loose toilet seat, otherwise impeccable.”
