Mövenpick Resort Petra

"Location is excellent for visiting Petra and the staff was generally kind, but unfortunately the hotel itself was very disappointing for the price point. The air conditioning stopped working overnight and never properly recovered during my stay, leaving both the room and several common areas of the hotel extremely hot. I got virtually no sleep before a full day hiking Petra. Food quality at the restaurants was also quite poor, especially considering this is marketed as a luxury property. In addition, several amenities and dining spaces were closed during my stay, which was frustrating given the cost of the hotel and not something that was clearly communicated in advance. Overall, while the proximity to Petra is convenient, the experience did not match the premium price or expectations associated with the property."

"When we got to the hotel, it was closed. We were asked to proceed to the Movenpick. We got good rooms and the location near the city and the entrance to the Old sites is amazing. The only thing we didnt like about the hotel was the cold pool. Ambient was 23, temperature of water was 25. So there was heating but everyone in the pool was shivering. Hotel was nice"

"Clean room, extra helpful staffs giving trip and food recommendations, plus free valet parking. Breakfast is now à la carte instead of buffet, since Jordan is more quiet than usual this season and most hotels are not very full."

"My family of three’s one night stay at the Petra Pillars Luxury was fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly, over-the-top accommodating, and kept their resort spotless. Our room had an excellent view of the Petra landscape and pool. The breakfast had plenty of options, including made to order pancakes. It was a short 6-minute drive to the entrance to Petra."

"Amazing hotel! I had a wonderful experience staying at this five star resort. Everything is top-notch, the cleanliness, quality, the staff… from the moment you arrive, you are treated like royalty. A special, thank you to Abdullah, he has helped me tremendously in everything I have needed, starting from arranging my transportation to and from the hotel(going to different cities etc). Thank you sir Abdullah you have been so kind and what an amazing stay I had because of you. I will be definitely returning to the specific hotel with family and friends and will be recommending to anyone that will be visiting the surrounding cities"
