"Overall the property was excellent Upon arrival the concierge staffing the arrival desk advised that Cliffside Restaurant could not be reserved for dinner due to a wedding He advised us that we would have to find a restaurant off the property to find a place to eat dinner As it turned out this was not true Once in our room we proceeded to see if we could order a meal through room service Lucky for us when we placed the call to the Cliffside restaurant we were advised that we could indeed eat at the adjoining lounge next to the Cliffside restaurant The lounge shares the same menu and is immediately adjacent to the Cliffside restaurant and shares the same view We had a wonderful meal at the lounge The only other issue was that the garbage bin in the kitchen had not been emptied from the previous tennants The loft room that we stayed at overall was very clean and spacious"

"We had a pleasant stay overall! While this definitely isn’t a luxury hotel, it was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the beds were SO comfortable. Our room was also very spacious, and having a fridge and microwave was a huge plus. The location was convenient, with Walmart, plenty of restaurants, and other essentials nearby, plus the lake and several parks just a short drive away. The hotel itself is quite dated and could use some TLC. The hallway walls were scuffed, the bathroom wallpaper was peeling, and the shower had very weak water pressure. That said, for a weekend visit to attend a family function, it served its purpose perfectly. We appreciated the comfortable beds, spacious room, and convenient location, and we would happily stay again. If you go in knowing you’re booking a basic, no-frills hotel rather than a luxury experience, you’ll likely be perfectly happy with your stay!"

"1-our water was turned off without notice for about 3 hrs and then we had to run the water for a 1/2 hr because it was brown as a result of it being well water which is no problem. 2-we were watching a movie and when it was almost over (5 min. left) the bell satellite went out because it started to rain a little bit which is an issue I have had with bell. Our stay was overall a very good one especially since we were there during off season. We would recommend everyone to stay here especially in the summer and if you have kids because there is a lot to do for young and old."

"It’s a lovely place to stay with family and friends! 😊 Your experience may vary depending on the time of year you visit, but we really enjoyed staying in the cozy little cabins, especially since the weather was a bit chilly and we were there just for a day. If you’re planning a visit, don’t forget to bring your badminton rackets, table tennis equipment, football, or any other outdoor games. There’s plenty of space near the lake to enjoy your favourite activities. You can also try canoeing and kayaking while you’re there! I’d definitely recommend staying for at least two days to explore all the facilities and activities the place has to offer. The communal fire pit is another highlight, where everyone can gather, relax, and enjoy the evening together. Overall, it was a wonderful staycation and a great spot to unwind and spend quality time with loved ones. Definitely worth a visit! 🌿🔥"
