The location was convenient. Specially if you’re only staying the night before hiking Machu Picchu, the bus station are literally right up the block. The staff was helpful and provided accurate information and maps for the town. The shower area in room 202 needs work. It is a standing shower (as in most places in South America), but there soap/shampoo holder fell and was never replaced so you have to put your soaps on the floor which could get slippery and dangerous, other then that, the breakfast was good and the other spaces in the hotel made sense for a short stay.

Six-story hotel with no elevator. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. But the sink in the bathroom drained all over the floor. Bed and room were very comfortable. Shower was strong and warm enough.

The location is amazing - it’s right where you board the buses to Machupicchu and not far from the train station (and down hill). Near restaurants and by the river. The river is wonderful white noise for sleeping. They were friendly and provided a take-away breakfast for us. But, the water in the shower was lukewarm at best.
