「Nice older hotel. No microwave or fridge in room. No bike parking, needed to move bikes in the evening down a block next to Doud’s market. Didn’t hear other guests’ noise in the evenings as we have in other Mackinac hotels. Sauna/pool area was a very nice amenity. The little balcony was a good enough space in the mornings for coffee and got no direct sunlight, which was fine for us.」

We were immediately moved to a slightly larger room where the AC worked well. Manager said they were gradually replacing the AC units. This is a motel. Just a place to sleep. Felt safe, but right on a main road. Would prefer to see a deadbolt added rather than just a door lock.」
