Convince to walkable places, but had a few issue which they fixed asap..one rooms bathroom wasn't clean tub wise, refrigerator didn't work. Second rooms trim around outside door was coming off but like I said they were on top of all of it.

Worst hotel ever

This hotel is garbage. I stay at a lot of hotels for work and this is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Dirty, unkempt, and the owners obviously don’t care because there are the same reviews from 2 years ago and nothing has changed. Do NOT stay here.

While I liked being on the ground floor and that each of our rooms had its own front porch, the rooms themselves could use updating. The few outlets there were couldn’t hold a plug. The bathroom needs hooks for towels, wet swimsuits, etc, and a microwave would be useful. We were excited about the indoor pool and water park, however, the water looked green and cloudy, and my grandchildren kept finding hair, and bugs in the water.

Dirty

We unfortunately had some issues with the room and decided to leave shortly after checking in. We reserved a single quenn room specifically for personal reasons and were given a two bed room. When we asked if we could switch or be refunded they said they do not have any other rooms and can not refund but will change the sheets if it makes us feel better. We then heard house cleaning complaining about having to change the sheets. Pass not getting the reserved room type the room itself was grose. There was a clear musty mold smell coming from one of the beds, there was a large amount of dust was on the pine walls above the headboards and a few french fries on the floor making us feel like the room was not cleaned. The tv area has a jungle of visual wires on the dresser and the tv remote was found underneath the bed. The bathroom shows signs of water damage and potential mold along with a spider web one of the shower corners. The smell made my gf nauseous and we decided to cut our trip short a day instead if staying here. No refund was given even though room was grose. Property has serious potential but failed in upkeep and basic functions.

We really enjoyed the waterpark but if it wasn’t for that we wouldn’t have been satisfied at all. Our room floor was very dirty and the beds were not comfortable .

A few issues

Lodge rooms need renovation. Bathroom smell of mildew/mold. The beds cratered &need replaced, but neither of us found them so poor we could not sleep. The room was large and clean, but overall a bit lacking. We enjoyed the location and the lodge feel.

My husband and I stayed in a room at the lodge and were pleasantly surprised by the cozy cabin decor. The warmth and charm of the room gave our vacation a true getaway feeling.

This place is functional, at best. The rooms are out dated and dog eared. Our room was not as clean as it should have been with dust thick in the air conditioning vents and a past guests hair in the bathroom corner. Even in the lodge portion, there is no housekeeping apparently. And only one very small trash can for the entire room. It benefits from a great location, but it's a shame that this facility is sub par.

There was only one very small trash can (about 1 gallon). There were 3 of us in a room with two double beds. However, we were only given 2 bath towels and 2 wash cloths and no hand towel. The front desk did give us another bath towel and wash cloth when we asked. 3 of the 4 light bulbs above the sink were burnt out making a very dim area to get ready in the morning. There was no maid service so the too small trash can was not emptied and no clean towels left. We were given more towels and wash cloths when we asked.

The staff is always accommodating and allows us to check in early year after year. The rooms are in excellent quality. They are very informative at the front desk about events, tours, shuttles, ferries. Always a pleasure to stay there.

Was very dirty, layers of dust behind nightstand when plugging something in. Mold in bathtub around safety bars and around floor near tub. No towels or washcloths in room. Tv did not work in 1st room, so had to be moved.
