The place was okay for one night but I wouldnt stay again. I had an asthma attack while there. The sheets were on top of plastic sheets and there were stains on them. They didnt fit to the size of the bed. The owner was nice and helpful but the place needs renovations.

Was a last minute stay on our road trip. The check in process was easy. The staff was kind and friendly. We got to speak with the owner who was very kind and always asking if we needed anything. The room was large and very clean. We will definitely go back when we are in town again.

The room was very dirty. I put down the wrong date, so I didn't use the room on the date I reserved it for. They gave me a room, but it was terrible. I will never go back to this establishment.

The room was clean. The air conditioning didn't work well it took hours to get the room slightly cool. The temperatures outside where in the upper 90's low 100's during our stay. The hall ways were not air conditioned at all. The stairs only had on railing and I have a disabled arm so it was very hard getting up and down the stairs. The rubber surface on the stairs was sticky. The shower in the room was extremely old and dangerous to get into, plus there was no light in the shower and it was about the size of small closet. The border and curtains were falling off the wall and rods. We didn't even bother with their "pn-the-go" breakfast. I will not be staying there again.

Staff was great. Definitely an older hotel but you couldn’t beat the price. Was out for work so basically just showered and slept. Room was clean and the towels replaced and bed was made the 2 days I stayed. Was gone before coffee and breakfast so I don’t know he opened that by 8am. Plenty of restaurants right around the area. Good location.

Close to WIU

If you need to stay at a hotel close to WIU this is a good place to go! The service is accommodating and for a small fee we were able to check in early. If you’re looking for a squeaky clean stay then look somewhere else as you will feel like you’re roughing it here. For the cost and the location it works.
