Beds were comfortable. Furnishings were nice. Outside porch was filthy. On street parking only. Breakfast was tasty. Paul not particularly engaging or informative. He did recommend good downtown dinner venue. Be prepared to carry luggage long way and up many narrow stairs. Sink didn't drain. Very limited toilet tissue supply. Very inconvenient shower inside claw-footed tub.

Very nice B & B. I had to be moved to another room due to a plumbing issue, but it was actually an upgrade. Hosts were excellent. Parking is an issue, but that is a Macon problem. Only small item was the room I was moved to didn’t appear to be fully stocked with usual items. Coffee, towels, etc. I would recommend this B & B.

There are K-Cups, sweetener, cream, and various kinds of tea provided in the drawer next to the Keurig, an ice machine, water dispensor in the fridge, and dishes/cups/silverware in the in-unit kitchen. There are also extra towels stocked in the bathroom cabinet. Next time, please let us know if you're unable to find these items, and we would be more than happy to show you where they are and restock if needed.

Wow!! What a beautiful bed and breakfast. This home is absolutely stunning! The service was above and beyond. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. Lots of beautiful antiques from all over the world. Our room (Mary Burke) was simply perfect! We had a claw foot tub, amazing bedding and tons of room (accented by luxurious furniture and so many period pieces of stained glass, I lost count). You won’t be disappointed! I will stay here whenever I am in Macon in the future❤️

This place was so nice. I definitely want to stay there again. The building has a ton of nice historical accents and decorations throughout. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The included breakfast was great, and I was even able to get a gluten free yoghurt parfait.

Beautiful and comfortable B&B
From check-in, to breakfast the next morning, Paul made our stay fantastic! My husband and I have never stayed in a B&B, and we loved it. The mansion is beautiful and decorated so ornate. The room was comfy and it was so peaceful and quiet. Paul also helped book a reservation for dinner upon our arrival. If we visit Macon again, we will definitely stay here! Perfect for a romantic stay.

Wunderschönes Haus mit allem Komfort und dem besten Inn Keeper überhaupt. Die Zimmer sind großzügig mit teils modernen sehr gut ausgestatteten Badezimmern. Quasi die ganze untere Etage kann von den Gästen genutzt werden, Bibliothek, Wohnzimmer, Musikzimmer, Esszimmer, große Veranda. Ein leckeres Frühstück wird nach Wunsch zubereitet, gegen Abend serviert Paul Wein und kleine Leckereien, Cocktail Zutaten stehen ebenfalls in der Bibliothek. Im Haus spielt dezent klassische Musik. Paul gibt viele Tipps und ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Besser geht es kaum.

A Must Stay!
This was the most amazing experience. The mansion is teeming with history and you can feel it when you walk through the front door. Tracy was there to greet us and was very friendly and told us some interesting facts about the mansion. Our bed was amazing! We didn’t want to leave it!!

You Must Visit This Beautiful Place
We booked 2 nights for my husband's birthday, our first time staying there. This home is stunning. The huge rooms, elegant but welcoming decor, and the beautiful paintings in every room were amazing. The Innkeepers, Tracy and Jessica were so warm and friendly. Jessica's breakfasts were real comfort food and one evening she even brought freshly baked cinnamon rolls to our room! This home was built in 1887 and you can tell it has been well cared-for. There are several lounges available for you to sit with your coffee or tea and you will just marvel at all there is to see in each room. Many of the windows have beautiful stained glass, which made streaks of color across our ceiling in the morning. However, I cannot say enough about how kind and caring Jessica was. She really is the perfect hostess and she loves this home. We'll be back for sure!

The house was beautiful. The innkeeper was not following through with the the amenities the inn offered. Although she was very nice, she was lacking a professional quality. We were very disappointed in the amount we paid for the lack of services rendered. We did not receive a gourmet breakfast, bathrobes in the room, items when we asked for them. The kitchen was dirty and unsanitary. The outside areas were unkept and unappealing.

But beyond that I was very disappointed in our stay. I had booked this venue to celebrate my wife's birthday - wanting it to be a great and enjoyable surprise for her. However, to begin with, no one was there to meet us when we arrived. After 15 minutes the innkeeper finally came to let us in. Upon arriving at our room I noticed we were not in the room that I booked. Since we were the only guests I looked around and noticed that the other two rooms had not been made up from the previous guests, including the room that I had originally booked. Every place seemed to be a mess - washing machines (2) stuffed with linens (I didn't know if they were clean or dirty). The website said that there would be a manager's reception with snacks - the only instruction was "lots of snacks in the kitchen - help yourself! We didn't find any "lots". No bath robes (also in the description). Breakfast was a choice of eggs & grits or waffles (not made to order). Coffee was cold. The coffee room had a Keurig dispenser. A few books of the history of Macon to read; nothing about the mansion. The only redeeming part was that it is a beautiful mansion, and easy to relax there, and freedom to roam throughout. Jessica tried to make our stay nice, but she needs some help - training and help with cleaning/upkeep. Unless some things are improved I cannot recommend it.
