「Barlovento is a gem near Tayrona. One almost doesn’t need to leave the property to get the real jungle beach experience. However, it is a perfect home base for your adventure. The accommodations are very comfortable and quiet. Just watch out for the “no see ums” insects that get through the mosquito nets in the cabana, but this is true everywhere. 「Clean hostel, short walk from the beach. Friendly staff, nice restaurant. Lights continuously flickered which was annoying but the WiFi worked most of the time (cuts in and out sporadically). No hot water. A few small shops nearby for drinks and snacks.」

「Teníamos una cabaña para dos adultos y dos niños. Ésta es grande, con dos camas individuales abajo y una de matrimonio arriba. Todas cubiertas con mosquitera. Había agua caliente y jabón en el baño. El desayuno está bien, es un pequeño buffet pero con suficientes cosas. Está a medio camino de Cabo San Juan así que perfecto para ir hasta allí, y de regreso domir aquí.
