Si vous chercher un hébergement seulement pour dormir c’est le bon plan, avec une vue superbe du 9ème étage. Par contre l’état de la chambre laisse à désirer, la parquet est dans un mauvais état, la salle de bain pareil …

Experiência pouco agradável.
O hotel é interessante, muito bem localizado para quem não quer comer no hotel. No recinto existem 3 hotéis do mesmo grupo, aos quais, não estão identificados. Fui á primeira receção em que apanhei uma funcionária super simpática que me explicou e indicou onde era realmente o hotel onde iria ficar. Subimos ( uma rampa a pique) para a seguinte receção onde está uma tremenda confusão e fui atendida por 3 funcionários, super desorganizado. Quando questionei sobre deixar o carro no parque o mesmo é pago 7€ ao dia, quando reservei o hotel, não dizia NADA sobre o parque ser pago e para aquele dia que cheguei não tinha lugar, ou seja, depois de jantar, o carro ficou estacionado quase 2 quarteirões do hotel. Seguindo, recebemos cartão mais dois vouchers de desconto para o 1 pequeno almoço e 1 jantar (top) e quando chegamos junto ao elevador pois era no 7 andar só existia 1 elevador a funcionar para 11 andares!!! Chegamos a estar 20/30min á espera do elevador. Quando chegamos ao quarto por duas vezes, o nosso cartão não abria a porta e la nos mudaram o cartão. As fotografias acolhedoras que mostram na “publicidade” dos quartos não é a realidade, o nosso quarto tinha o chão sujo, o frigorífico com cabelos e a casa de banho, enfim. Não existe AC somente uma ventoinha. O nosso check-out foi dia 25-10 e até hoje ainda estamos á espera da fatura. Nisto tudo, a melhor parte do quarto era a vista para o mar.

This hotel is located at the top of a hill, so not for people with bad legs. It is located in a quiet and peaceful area, so perfect for people who want peace and quiet. The restaurant by the pool makes nice burgers, sandwiches, etc. The pool is large enough to swim a few laps. We enjoyed our 10 day stay, 3-4 of which were spent on the hotel grounds, the rest of the days, we spent on trips around the island.

The public areas are modern and well maintained. Swimming pool area and terrace were lovely. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and co sat toy being refreshed. Staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the bedrooms and the corridors let the hotel down and need refurbishment and modernisation asap.

Staff at the hotel were always helpful and friendly. Check in was available when we arrived late at the night, and also no problem with late check-out. They helped to get doctors to the hotel because of a medical emergency. In the end it required treatment at the hospital. But it was good to have staff members that made things easier. The location of the hotel is great. And it is close to several restaurant, cafés, Complexo Balnear do Lido, centrum of Funchal and more. The pool area of the hotel were quite nice. But I have to be honest and say that in general. The hotel was pretty outdated and it definitely needs some maintenance. And it was a strange smell in the room. Maybe fungus or mold. No AC, and the safe didn't have a lock. And there was no fridge. Perhaps there are some in other rooms 🤔 But I got the impression that other rooms were better. And we got the opportunity to change room so thumbs up for that. The food was okey, and you had a few things to choose from. Overall an okey hotel with a good potential to be even better. Staff were great as mentioned. But hotel needs and upgrade and some maintenance. The hotel is fairly cheap to stay at, so if you want to travel on a budget. Or just dont want to spend a lot on a hotel, this will be a good option.

Pire hôtel que je jamais réservé de ma vie je suis arrivé dans le site ça disait stationnement gratuit et stationnement disponible il a fallu qu’on marche pendant 15 minutes et en plus il a une grosse pente pour arriver à l’hôtel vraiment difficile d’accès la chambre était tellement sale l’eau de la douche sortais à l’extérieur je ne recommande jamais cette hôtel à personne vous perdez votre argent réception était méchante N’a jamais de trouver des solutions pour nous il a fallu que hôtels.com les appels et trouver une solution le manger était vraiment dégueulasse honnêtement je suis quelqu’un qui voyage beaucoup et je vais jamais vu quelque chose comme ça difficile d’accès compliqué d’entrée car il a trois hôtel en un Vous pouvez trouver mieux à quelque part d’autre la réception et l’hôtel m’a jamais aidé les important pour eux c’est leur portefeuille et non le service à la clientèle

Good value for money
Paid 80 euro per night and would say it is good value for what you get. The hotel general areas is in good shape, as well as pool area and restaurant, and a nice rooftop where you can bring your own drink and have a nice view. The rooms are well cleaned and good supplied breakfast buffe.

Nicht zu empfehlen ...
Das Hotel ist in den 70er Jahren stehen geblieben es ist nicht wirklich mal etwas renoviert geworden. Von klappernden Fenster über undichtes Waschbecken bis hin zu sanierungsbedürftigem Gebäude war alles dabei. Und das Frühstück war auch mehr schlecht als recht.

Zimmer in Ordnung, könnte sauberer sein. Neben dem Hotel ist eine Baustelle, die vorab nicht erwähnt wird und sehr laut ist. Frühstücksbuffet nicht zu empfehlen, kaum Abwechslung, geschmacklich nicht gut und für Vegetarier*innen nicht wenig Auswahl. Service sehr freundlich. Gym gut ausgestattet.

Not a very good start when we arrived at the hotel. Queued up with other arriving guests with bags and luggage in tow. Got to the check in desk and the receptionist asked if we flew EasyJet which we had, gave us a key and a card with check out information for the next day. Said they hadn’t been paid and need to send boarding passes to their email address. Tried to explain we were booked for over a week but she was very abrupt and uncooperative and we went to this room which was terrible and definitely not the room we had booked. Met the general manager by coincidence and explained the situation but he was as confused as us. Went out for the afternoon and came back and spoke to the reception manager who explained she had mistaken us for people who work at the airport - clearly. Didn’t check names on ID to the booking system but we were given the room we had booked that evening. Reception manager was furthermore very helpful. That aside, car parking was a challenge on the first day. We asked about the car park but receptionist wasn’t helpful and as a result we failed to prebook and had to park the car a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast always busy, never had bacon and sausage at the same time and sausages are mini hot dogs. Bread rolls stale after a few mornings. Good choice of fruit, yoghurt, cereal and pastries. Breakfast staff friendly. We enjoyed drinks by the pool bar some evenings. Rooms are in need of maintenance and could do with updating.
