Disappointed – Late Night Construction Ruined Our Stay We stayed for one night, hoping for a peaceful getaway from the city. Everything was good until the night. We had a nice spa and the property was great. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but relaxing that night. I was abruptly woken up at 12:30 AM by loud construction noises that sounded like welding or drilling—so intense it felt like it was happening right beside my ear. I was shocked that the hotel management would allow such disruptive work to take place in the middle of the night. Despite trying to ignore it and fall back asleep, the noise continued. I had to call the front desk twice before they finally took action. The noise only stopped around 1:10 AM—well past the time anyone should have to deal with such a disturbance in a hotel. This completely ruined the peace and rest I came here for. A truly disappointing experience from a place that should prioritize guest comfort and tranquility. Pros: Breakfast Buffet( Paid), Spa, Property, Amenities.

A pleasant stay but room for improvement

Out start at Club Mahindra Madikeri was good. Housekeeping was prompt if you called in them for anything. However in the 2 night stay our room was never cleaned once. Food was average. Breakfast was the best of the meals. All precaution regarding masks, physical distancing, sanitization etc were taken.

Great experience at the resort. Food was excellent both at breakfast and during room service. Only slight issue was the TV had a buzzing sound that was a bit irritating

Bad expierience. Avoid.

I regret booking at this place. We were tired when we reached and it took them so long to show us to our room. We showered and went out. When we came back our key would not work. We went to reception to tell them and the girl laughed at us mockingly saying that the key is working. I got very angry and demanded to see the interim manager but before she came they sent someone with us with new key and guess what!!! that key did not work either. Then the manager turned up with locksmith. It took him an hour to fix the lock. By this time i was fed up and my whole stay was ruined.

Budget 5 star accommodation

Our stay at mahindra resorts was excellent. The resort was well maintained and set in a rain forest setting. The prices are reasonable and food was very good.

Good resort for a relaxing vacation

Stay was very comfortable and gave you a refreshing feel. Staff is very friendly. Wifi service is not good, also the spa had a lot of hidden charges that were not discussed upfront.

Not worth the stay

was charged 2500 rupees for extra bed, no linen was provided had to sleep on a sofa which was soiled and dirty. Had requested at the time of check in If I am paying for extra bed I want a roll out bed with clean linen. I Complained to management they brushed it off with the SORRY. Ridiculous to charge to use the gym. I was not informed there is a fee to use gym. I was at the gym around 8 am no gym staff was present.. Why would you pay for machines that is not connected to power. Very outdated machines too.I understand applicable fees for spa but never heard of gym fee. Rip off!!!! Over priced Bar menu. Please take your alcohol with you. Avoid eating at the resort and go out to town there are lot of good eating places for fraction of the resort cost. Very unfriendly staff. I don't mind paying exorbitant tariff as long as descent service is provided. Look else where. If you are a member probably you can suck it up.

Fell short of expectations

Check in was smooth. The rooms were decent. The bathrooms were small and filled with flies. We had a king bed room with a balcony. The bed and the rest of the room was clean. They had two outdoor pools, but the water was freezing cold. We could barely stay in the water for 5-10 mins. Should have an outdoor pool. Breakfast was good . Lunch and dinner buffet was available . We were told alacarte was not available. The buffet was expensive and was not worth it if you eat small quantities. They have a snack bar with very limited options. My 8 year old was not allowed on the adventure zone. The resort organizes day tours and small games for families during the day. Our keys were not working twice and had to find an employee to let us into the rooms. My parents are elderly so they had to wait outside till this was sorted out. Luckily we were not locked out at night. I would give the resort a 3 star. I wouldn't stay there again unless they offer a heated pool and better dining options

Excellent place but pricey

We booked online to attend a wedding, needed a hotel which suited international standards, and it did. They mainly cater for vacation club members, unable to book on-site. They allowed late check out. We had breakfast buffet and it was superb with wide variety. Staff were very friendly and ready to help. Rooms did my smell. Bathroom was good. Beds were comfortable. Overall excellent place.

Excellent staff

We went as a family to privately celebrate my father's 80th birthday. The hotel staff found out and decorated his room when we were out and even delivered a birthday cake all on their own initiative! Made his day!!

Club Mahindra Medikeri Coorg.

Continuous rains and fog... Nice huge property. Excellent staff and excellent food although a bit expensive still quality and number of options in buffet makes up for it. Special mention of housekeeping who returned my iPad to Mumbai after I forgot in my room. The only drawback was the hot water which was not even warm. Would recommend.

Nice hill top hotel, location is fantastic.

Hill top hotel, with perfect view of nature. Hospitality is very nice.Food is good. Clouds everywhere with drizzling , makes you feel so refreshed and relaxing. Away from noisy and polluted places. All you hear is pleasant sounds of birds. A must visit place in COORG. Take my words and stay once in this hotel at least once.
