The location of the property and the property itself were great. The problem was with the maintenance. When we arrived, it was clear very quickly that the place had not been cleaned properly. There were clumps of hair on the floor of each room, especially in the bathroom. The toilet had not been cleaned and there was hair in the shower stall and on the bathroom sink. We arrived after 17 hours of traveling and could not take a shower as there were no clean towels provided. We checked in during the afternoon and not until 8pm did someone show up with clean towels. We had plans for dinner but cancelled them because they had told us this person would show up between 6:30pm-7pm. She finally came at 8pm. When we finally did get to take a shower, it was a cold one. We realized that the water heater was turned to the very lowest setting and not at a level that is recommended. The next day the air conditioning unit (which we had not touched the setting of) started leaking water all over the floor. The property manager responded to our initial request for clean towels but when they didn't arrive on time and we encountered these other issues, they stopped responding all together both to messages and phone calls. No response at all. I cleaned up the water that leaked onto the floor from the AC unit and tried to clean the place. While this property could be great due to location and layout of the rooms, the maintenance/cleaning issues were unacceptable and impacted our trip negatively.
