The place is on safe street very close to the tourist attractions in Madrid. Has a lot of restauraunts in the vicinity. I would say the street is silent with not a lot of vehicular or foot traffic. However given that the apartment opens literally on the street be aware that you will hear folks talk while walking past until quite late night. Also some amount street light seeps though into the apartment. Note that this wasnt a concern for us though.

Location location location! It's as close as you can be to the action. Everything was walkable. Quite a bit of noise at night. But we were so tired, we slept through it.The only thing that I would note, there is a musty smell when you first walk in the unit. The towels smelled musty too. It's a good thing I bought my own towel. But overall, I'd stay there again.

3 nights in Madrid

Spouse and I stayed here. Location is fantastic. Steps to all the major sights on that end of the city. Noisy at night bc it is immediately off of the sidewalk/street. Could use some basic maintenance but it worked ok.

Location is great, close to everything downtown. Place is a little noisy, you can hear street sounds well. Saturday night party crowd was quite tolerable, after all just people having a good time. Cars speeding over the cobble stones at all hours of the night in the narrow street were loud and more disruptive. Hosts were great and responsive in communicating, place was clean.

I booked this accommodation over a year ago and paid at the same time. I got in touch with the property 5 days out to confirm booking etc to be told that they had closed the booking as it was made a year ago! Accommodation was eventually sorted through them however the property we were given is not the one I booked. I booked and paid for 4 people but we were only given 2 towels for example. Would not recommend. Service was mediocre, condition of the property was terrible ie the shower head was duct taped up! Only good thing near the train station

Studio near Palacio

Convenient location, close to major attractions. A few minor issues with the hot water system and a refrigerator malfunction that were quickly addressed / resolved by the owner. An adequate space for two people.
