We had an outstanding stay at Motel One Madrid. The staff were outstanding from the moment we walked into the hotel. The room was perfect—great AC, great size, great all around. The house cleaning staff were the best…very understanding to our needs and helped me with my Spanish and vice versa. There is a great neighborhood associated with the motel, along with numerous restaurants to choose from, a local grocery and many close attractions. It was a wonderful stay of 10 days. Nice hotel with a great lobby bar. Rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable, but towel racks were loose and shower door leaked. They turn off AC in November and our room was incredibly hot so we needed to keep the window open which was noisy. Walking distance to bars and restaurants and longer walk to all the sites. Breakfast was adequate, with cold selections only. Reception and bar staff were amazing.

Nice staff

Nice location, good decor. Wooden floors meant that if someone above you / next to you dropped something you heard it. Could hear the lifts / shouting at night. We opted not to have the breakfast. The staff were friendly and efficient throughout our stay.
