Great little boutique hotel right in the middle of Madrid. Easy walking to anywhere from here. But also super quiet hotel at night with no city noise so it made it great to get some good sleep. Also beds and pillows were great too.

Stayed here only because of location to a meeting that was within walking distance. The location was great, walkable to dining and shopping. The room was very small, fine for 2 nights but more than that would have been tight. The bathroom is open and part of the room which I hate -- if someone goes to the bathroom or turns on the light you hear/see everything and will wake you up. Room service was horrendous. I ordered a Cesar salad and requested no anchovies and it showed up with anchovies all over the top. The dressing was like mayonnaise. Ordered a fruit salad and the kiwi was rock hard, like a hockey puck. Whoever put it on the plate had to have known that it was rock hard and inedible. The AC didn't work well, never got to the temperature set. The breakfast served in the restaurant was great, room service needs to learn from that chef. If you want young, think Hard Rock hotel, you'll like it here but if you are an experienced traveler than look elsewhere.

Hotel is centrally located and built on a theatre. We had a room with a premium room with a terrace. This meant we were on the top floor of bedrooms and had access to the terrace which was divided into sections for each other rooms. It was all a bit cramped with no privacy. The room was well equipped and everything was easily to hand. The bath was sustainable - not requiring much water to fill. If you are just getting to know your roommate you will certainly know them better by the end of the holiday as there is no privacy to the toilet. The air conditioning was powerful which meant I could not tell whether the soundproofing was effective. The light illuminating the door as an escape route all night was comforting but not sustainable. The roof top bar looks quite a feature and the pre-arrival email extolled its virtues. Surprising to be told on arrival it was closed for refurbishment.

Nice location. Very friendly staff. Special thanks to Sara at reception, she is very helpful and welcoming. One suggestion for the room: the lack of carpeting made it feel quite cold, especially during the winter months. Having carpeting would improve the comfort level for guests.

Nice hotel with a popular theater inside (Phantom of the Opera currently), very close to the Plaza Sol and all its activities. Fabulous rooftop bar - must be quite the scene in warm weather. My room was a bit awkward, as it was L-shaped with a long hallway leading to a cramped desk/bed space. A large person would find it difficult to maneuver in. Watching TV was also awkward from whatever angle. Breakfast was the usual overpriced offering and the hotel’s Albeniz Restaurant is hard to get a table in for dinner because of the theater-goers.

This is an OK property in a great location. If you are into “theme” hotels you’d likely look past the lapses in good hotel operation and hospitality. I was disappointed in the experience.

Nice Hotel in a tourist walking site, good for people who visit Madrid for tourism purposes. Not a 5 star as well, but a very good 4.

Amazing customer service from the front desk. We had issues in our end and they were nothing but helpful. Would recommend to anyone. Only downside was the rooftop bar was not open for the night we were there which was disappointment.
