ENCHANTED EVENINGS & SUNNY ADVENTURES IN MAGGIE VALLEY! Located close to the Maggie Valley Fairgrounds & Cataloochee Resort, this pet-friendly cabin offers a gazebo that holds a 4-person hot tub, fire pit, amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the deck and inside, as well as peaceful seclusion. For entertainment, we have a Karaoke speaker and an outdoor projector with screen for those summer months. Enjoy a large yard for playing, dining, entertaining. We've even built a fun play area for your fur babies. (1 King/3 Queens/1 Full-Size Futon)

As you enter the cabin, you're greeted by an inviting, bright living area with gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, glass-enclosed porch, and wraparound deck. There's no better place to enjoy your morning coffee or a peaceful evening glass of wine than the wraparound porch. You might even be fortunate to catch a glimpse of our wildlife neighbors; groundhogs, fox, turkeys, and bears.

WELCOME TO MAGGIE VALLEY! This cabin is in the Heart of Maggie and is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Smoky Mountains, Soco Falls, Cataloochee Ranch/Ski Resort, and Lake Junaluska. We love the short-range mountains views off the front deck, the gazebo/hot tub, fire pit, the glimpses of the area black bears, elk, fox, and groundhogs, the summer hummingbirds and fireflies, as well as the close proximity to area conveniences. We hope you create bountiful memories at Halfback Ridge.

The cabin has a comfortable open floor plan with vaulted ceilings on the main level with natural light flooding in. There is a glass-enclosed porch with fireplace off the kitchen where you can soak in the views anytime of day.

We went skiing at Chatalooche, which was a short 10 min-ish drive from the cabin. The cabin was near some really yummy, authentic Mexican food, not to be missed. The views of the mountain range and the quietness of the area made for a lovely family vacay. Would def recommend and would love to return!

We returned to the cabin at Halfback Ridge after a visit in 2022. We were as happy with our stay this year as we were the first time. The accommodations are spacious and comfortable, and conveniently located to see and do things in the area. We plan to return again next year.

The house and grounds were amazing. The amenities were spectacular, everything you need and more. The decor was cozy and inviting, the furniture and beds comfortable. Response on any questions was very timely; recommendations on places to visit were appreciated. It was a great getaway and bonus, we were able to bring our dogs. We will definitely make this a recurring vacation spot. My favorites were the fire pit, hot tub, deck and sunroom.

The home was clean and super comfortable. The host has thought of everything! Nice towels, comfy beds, 2 coffee makers, popcorn machine, games, movies, 2 fireplaces, stocked kitchen, dog bowls, fenced yard, and even a welcome basket of goodies and a list of area recommendations. It was a chilly weekend so our favorite spots were the covered hot tub and the sunroom by the fireplace which both have amazing views.

Wonderful vacation. Home was very nice. Fireplace put out the heat - kept the thermostat lower than usual. Living room comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked. Hot tub was fantastic. So close to Cataloochee Ski Area- very convenient. Restaurants were close as well. We love Cataloochee and are repeat visitors. Would definitely stay again. Host was very responsive and easy to work with. One of our best Cataloochee experiences!

The owners had clearly thought of everything you might need and more at this home! Jacqueline was super awesome and responded quickly! The home had wonderful spaces to enjoy inside and out. We loved that a portion of the porch was covered to keep cool from the afternoon sun but there was plenty of seating in the sun to soak up the rays when it's cool! We (and our dogs) enjoyed the fenced in area and even playing in the large and FLAT (hard to find in a mountain property) front yard for our well behaved off-leash fetch-a-holic. You get the view of the mountains and yet it is so convenient to the main road without driving up and down an entire mountain. Nearby downtown Waynesville is super cute and great for restaurants (Sweet Onion was delicious) and shops. There's tons of hiking and even waterfalls nearby as well. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here!

We highly recommend this rental! We have been to rentals before that said “they have everything you would need” but they did not. Jacqueline, our host, and this rental went above and beyond!! Jacqueline was very prompt replying to our texts with questions ranging from checking in/out to where to shop for groceries. This cabin has a very homey feel with anything you would ever need to make you vacation memorable, from kitchen utensils and cookware to bath sheets for the hot tub. The cabin has an amazing view and we enjoyed grilling out and relaxing on the deck. We trailered our motorcycles in a 20 ft trailer pulled by a F350 Crew Cab with an 8 ft bed. The drive up to the cabin was tight with four sharp turns but it was doable, with plenty of room to turn around at the top. We will definitely be back!!

Our stay at Halfback Ridge cabin was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by pristine cleanliness that immediately put us at ease. The hot tub and fire pit were the perfect spots to unwind and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the popcorn machine! It added a fun and nostalgic touch to our evenings in. Plus, being able to bring along our furry friends made the experience even more enjoyable. What truly sets Halfback Ridge cabin apart is the attention to detail. It seemed like every possible need or desire we had while traveling was already anticipated and provided for. From kitchen essentials to cozy blankets, we lacked for nothing during our stay. We are already contemplating our return trip to Halfback Ridge cabin and cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone seeking a tranquil and relaxing getaway. Many thanks to the owner for sharing this slice of paradise with us!

WOW!!! EXTRA, EXTRA, EXTRA .. These guys thought of everthing...from the thickest towels, to every cookware u could dream of ... more seating areas than I could imagine.. Outdoor heaters, games, a popcorn 🍿 machine, toss pillows, cozy blankets and FLEECE ponchos! what! I dont know where to begin or end. Every space was well thought out. It was only me, my husband and my dog but the place was well equipt for a party of 50 ..And this place is so clean. U could eat off the floors. It takes alot to make me feel I'm home. It's beyond a home away from home. This place was above and beyond. Jacqueline was amazing

This place was incredibly huge for our family. CLEAN beds and very comfortable mattresses, nice fluffy towels, clean bathrooms. The kitchen is more equipped than my own kitchen. A lot of nice decorations all over. The front porch, it's huge. The hot tub with the gazebo around it, it's an amazing idea for privacy or if it gets to cold (my case). I felt like I never left my home. The only thing you need to bring it's your clothes and food, because this place has it all (is very clean as well). They even had wood for us for the fireplace. The views are incredible, from every angle there is something nice to see. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Overall, you won't be disappointed. I which I had more time, we would definitely came back again to the same place in Maggie Valley with no doubt. Special thanks to the owner who was kind enough to send me something I left behind. That was very nice of her.
