The rooms are really nice and were cleaned really well but we had a very bad mosquito problem in our room where they were coming in under a gap in the door and I had to spend a lot of my time in the room trying to kill them and asking housekeeping to clear up the dead ones afterwards... Despite their 'bite-free bliss' they advertise, the reception staff told us they only spray once a week and that there's no point spraying more frequently because 'it's rainy season'. Service and food were good in restaurant but both were pretty bad in the bar (and very expensive - $12 for a beer). At times, the floor was dirty in the restaurant at breakfast and the hotel charged a lot for taxis. The new Asian restaurant is great and was a real highlight. The pool area and beds were very comfortable and the help yourself filtered water on each floor was also great. Overall, it's definitely a nice hotel, the service at reception and at the bar was just a bit lacking at times.
