Lovely hotel

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was excellent, with wonderful views of the harbour at Mahon. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor was very pleasing, the rooms comfortable. I would recommend to anyone who didn’t mind a ten minute walk into town, with quite a steep climb there and back.

Facilities at the hotel were excellent although the lack of air conditioning in some rooms was an issue even in April but reception moved me to a better room. The dinner was excellent though not inexpensive and breakfast was typical in a 4 star hotel. The walk down (and up!) to the harbour was steep and I opted for a taxi back. The walk to the town centre only took 12 minutes (when I mastered the route) and a good selection of restaurants was available.
