“We had a great stay in Otis! We enjoyed the lake, the canoe and kayaks, the loons with their calls and several visits from a bald eagle. We also rented a pontoon boat - a great week for it. The lake is huge and the area is very peaceful. The neighbors were all friendly on morning walks.While we had great days and nights in Otis at the camp, we also enjoyed Acadia with a few hikes and Bar Harbor for a few dinners. Finn's in Ellsworth was fairly close and we had a great meal there as well. ……

“I saw some negative reviews regarding the "older decor" of the property. If you know this in advance and you're not super bougie, this is the place to go. I actually enjoyed feeling like I was back 25 years ago before cell phones and chaos. The property is super clean and well-kept with a nice pool.
