"Great location and walking distance to all attractions in Bendigo. We enjoyed our stay at CBD. The house is a charming heritage home with lovely features of yesteryear. Rooms are spacious and adequate. On the down side, the home could do with a thorough dust, cushion covers need a wash and couches need new inserts, as there is no support at all. The laundry could do with a spruce up and a few laundry essentials added. Extra clothes pegs wouldn’t go astray. The garden needs pruning and tidying...

"We really loved our stay at the property. The house is charming, with spacious and comfortable living areas and a newly refurbished kitchen, well equipped for self catering. Our favourite was the big, open deck with lovely views - a great spot for kangaroo and bird watching. Bronwyn provided good communication and was very helpful with recommendations on local attractions and services. We hope to visit again soon."

"The property itself was beautifully appointed. The booking process was dreadful. On booking I was sent a link to add in details which gave an error message. I wrote to them three times to advise and got no response. Details about the address and how to get into the property are only sent 2 hours beforehand. Even then I had to ring them to say I hadn't received the code. When I finally got through to them I was advised that my deposit hadn't worked. (This could have been fixed days...

"I really enjoyed staying in Kate and Felicity's space. The bath and being able to have a fire were treats and I love the history of the place, and all the love and care that Kate put into restoring the miners cottages. Though this cottage is not old, much care has been taken to create old world charm within it. I didn't anticipate the road noise, but overall it didn't disturb the tranquility for me. Waking to birdsong was a joy."
